Hey OP, that was a horrible event that happened and hopefully does not happen again–but every year dozens and dozens of US soldiers are killed, raped, attacked by OTHER US soldiers. Fort Hood itself has seen over 14 deaths of soldiers over the last year and half that have also occurred on base.
The US military has many, many problems and the incident that just past once again shows how the US Military has not properly vetted it's "employees" properly. Just as the Romans trained the Spartans to become an incredible army, eventually they returned home to roost...
