Report Copyright Violation | Good Friday Legal Holiday Must Go Away I personally donīt like the implication that the government prefers one religion over another. I donīt see Post Office workers getting Passover off. Or government office closing for Halloween, or any other pagan holiday. What makes Good Friday so special? |

As a practical matter, it is more efficient to shut down government for a day than to run it for a skeletal staff, given the large numbers of employees that would simply use leave to commemorate this most holy day. |
