legally you can change your deductions depending upon how many expemtions you believe you owe. You can change from 0 on up. An exemption of 15 would not deduct any taxes from your check, the filing of taxes at the end of the year is the time when things are settled.
If everyone deducted say 15 and taxes quit being withheld, the battle is about the money and without it they have troubles. Your vote is with your money cause your voice means nothing.

Unfortunately, no one wants to take the time to read the legislation.
Instead, people just want to read slanted reports and articles that focus on isolated shortcomings and respond emotionally - exactly what these opposition forces want you to do.
Well, you can thank these same folks, because they've programmed you all to be emotional, reactionary, thoughtless drones made to respond to a predetermined stimulus - no matter what form it takes; and regardless as to whether or not that stimulus has a logical foundation, or strains reason.

We understand that if "they" want something to happen it typically will (and usually with the support of the greater number of individuals who could potentially effect change). But this is neither here nor there.
Remember the hundreds of individuals, including those within our higher offices, stood before the House Judiciary Committee, arguing for the impeachment of then President George W. Bush only to have absolutely nothing come of it.
But back to us. Are we just reactionary nitwits who jump at every thread or article that suggests inequity or corruption? Is anyone self-aware?
Fortunately, I realize these boards are simply a place for folks to air their frustrations (sorry, shills).

1. Removes my freedom to make personal choices regarding how I pay for my health care
2. Penalizes me with taxes for opting out of the program
3. Makes me a criminal for not paying the penalty taxes.
In my assessment, Congress does not have the power to mandate the people to purchase a product to be a citizen with full rights under the Constitution. Medical care is not interstate commerce, and, therefore, this bill fails the commerce clause in the Constitution. To the end, that this bill is completely unconstitutional and does not have my support regardless of the other specifics in the bill.

And the result is that many will die, who could have been saved. My comments were only to note that so many people are treating this legislation as pernicious simply from an appearance of majority opposition (much of which is uninformed), and not from personal insights into the actual content of the legislation.
I was just advocating for an honest, informed, reasoned response instead of the careless, superficial treatment these controversies often stir up.
Personally, I've never been a political activist. We can see that, at times where it counts, how far this activism has gotten us.
One can argue that I'm an example of the unfortunate apathy that has taken over our constituency, but when presidents can be simply placed into office regardless of obvious criminality, then one has to realize that when it really counts, they're in charge.
I pick my battles. I also realize that this Health Care Bill, regardless of content, is just one of a number of countless bills that have passed, and will pass for better or worse.
Besides, I'm much less interested in this Health Care Bill than in the Federal Reserve and I.R.S., etc., which are, to me, much bigger fish.
This country has gone far off track, and arguing health care legislation this late in the game is energy misdirected.
We should have done much more, much sooner.
This isn't to say it's too late, because the overwhelming evidence clearly shows that despite their vie for ultimate power, the game is over for the criminal elite, period.
At this point, my perspective is much larger and I can see their grand plans coming to an end. In fact, they're already done, but the last vestiges of their machinations are just winding down.
For those in the know, who have been following everything along, it is all tied together.
One would be naive to suggest this health care legislation was all roses. I won't argue that. Anything that gets passed through will have items in it that "they" want included.
At the same time, something greater than simply unconstitutional legislation being passed. It involves H1N1; it involves Obama; and it involves ET and 2012. It's all tied together.
The wheels of our Nazi infiltrators do indeed spin on. But what I clearly see as the greater picture just doesn't have a place for them at the top.
In fact, there soon won't even be a "top," but a level playing field; regardless of what evil plans are being hatched. They are impotent.
It's hard to effect your plans for domination when the lapse between your actions and a global report on your actions is only mere moments.
We already understand, for example, that the situation in the Ukraine, as predicted by Joseph Moshe, is tied in. It's all tied together, but everything is so transparent now that it's laughable.
Our inability to effect real political change, couple with my desire to better focus my energies, and what I see as a greater positive process unfolding quite on its own have encouraged me to sit back with a smile and to watch the whole thing play out.
What is happening seems to be some sort of universal, or natural process. It's almost like all of the misdeeds perpetrated by those in power are coming back to bite them in the ass big time.
If nothing else is clear, at least this should be. At this point, their actions are very visible. And the apparent desperation reflected in these overt acts only telegraph this positive outcome; their imminent demise.
I don't agree or disagree re: the health care legislation, because I haven't read it. I would assert that much more dangerous and unconstitutional legislation came before it, and we are living with that now.
My plea was for even tempers and common sense.

I understand there may be turmoil before we get there, but we're dealing with the resolution and dissolution of something that extends beyond our current government.
And a final note to all, I wouldn't take the H1N1 vaccine unless you desire to end your life. Of the few cases who have died from the virus itself, many reactions to the vaccine thus far have been absolutely horrible.
