The above vid about the Taiaha is interesting, the greenstone is the tounge, on an other level there is the sword of the word, mouth, the word that can heal or destroy.

Pertaining that the ones who carried the Taiaha were mainly chiefs, it shows the sacredness of its use, was reserved for the leaders/guidance/authourty, they would also be the diplomats/counsellers, the Taiaha could be a symbol representing there skill in the word, talk, wisdom.

The dog hair, could be seen as the Taiaha was strickly used to guide and for protection, as dogs were Guardian signpost in the heavens for traveling the celestrial houses.

The tounge is also in the center of the Aztec/mayan calander, along with infinity symbol.

The Taiaha looks more like a wand than a weapon, im sure theres other purposes for it, perhaps it acted like a healing light on a conscouse level.

Have yet to see a taiaha with a red stone..........
