When I was around three or four years old, I distinctly remember being held down by the doctor to administer a shot and nose drops because I was having none of it.
That was in the early 60s.
For good or ill...it is supposed to be up to the parent to make the decision for their child, as it was in this case. |

The mother is a coward for forcing her child to get the vaccine and then running away. Someone should have held her down and forced her to watch. I'm willing to bet she didn't do any research before allowing her son to get the vaccine.
She should have researched the pros and cons and discussed them with her son. That way they could have made an informed decision together. I think the child is old enough to have some say in what goes in to his body. |

That kid will need some serious therapy, either now or as an adult. What a traumatic experience.
