lets start off with some little facts
In the Ukraine:
roughly 1.2 million infected and about 235 dead
that is a death rate of 0.00019% the death rate of a regular flu is 0.1% that is 500 times less lethal than a regular flu.
lets look at the USA numbers
22 million have been infected
3,900 have died
death rate = 0.00018% roughly the same as ukraine
regular flu death rate in USA = 0.1%
this again is about 500 times less lethal
so over all
Death rate of H1n1 = 0.00019%
Dearth rate of REG. Flu = 0.1%
Death rate of spanish flu (1918) = 2.0%
so the question is why the fuck are they pushing the vaccine! here in my school at Loma Linda University they are telling all students MUST have the vaccination shot or they wont be able to register for winter quarter
here is the letter i got:

Subject: Seasonal and H1N1 Influenza
All students will be receiving the letter below by e-mail today. Points of emphasis for your information are the following:
Seasonal influenza
1. As of Thursday, November 12, the last scheduled clinic for administering the seasonal flu vaccines for the schools will have been completed. By Monday, November 16, Student Health Service will provide the Associate Dean of Students of each school with the list of students still needing the seasonal flu vaccine in order to avoid a hold on their winter registration. The remaining doses that your school has available will be taken into consideration before placing the holds just prior to Monday, November 30.
H1N1 influenza
1. H1N1 vaccine is required of all students.
2. Student Health Service has received 2000 doses as of this week, and scheduling of clinics will begin now. Our student body is in the high risk category, and over the next number of weeks we expect to receive the remaining doses.
3. Holds will be applied to non-compliant students for spring quarter registration.
4. Loma Linda University legal counsel has reviewed and supports these requirements.
5. There may be a rare case of severe egg allergy, but emergency room visit and/or laboratory documentation is necessary in order for a declination form to be used and processed by our physician staff.
6. For students with Risk Management, all costs will be covered. Some schools have indicated a willingness to cover the minimal costs for vaccine administration for students who do not have Risk Management. During the scheduling process for these clinics, your school administration can advise us on this matter.
7. As previously agreed through the Dean’s Council, students who are presumptively ill from the H1N1 virus will be excused from class or clinic assignments without a Student Health physician sick note.
As you may know, the Occupational Medicine Clinic here on campus will be receiving doses for faculty and staff. While still in the planning stages, Student Health Service and the Occupational Medicine Clinic may be working together to run clinics simultaneously for students, faculty and staff. It has been strongly recommended that all faculty and staff receive the H1N1 vaccine.

On behalf of the University, Student Health Service would like to thank you for your participation and compliance with the recent seasonal influenza vaccine requirement. Currently, we have vaccinated over 2,100 students, invariably limiting the likelihood of a large scale seasonal influenza outbreak on our campus while also protecting visitors and patients from our extended community. If you have not yet received your seasonal influenza vaccine, the Student Health Service may be able to accommodate you to avoid a “hold” on your winter registration.
Loma Linda University is requiring the vaccination of the entire student population for the H1N1 influenza virus. In order to ensure the timely vaccination of each student, and to control a large scale H1N1 influenza outbreak on campus, students who do not comply with University policy to receive a H1N1 influenza vaccine will have a “hold” placed on their spring quarter registration. To avoid complications regarding your registration, please check your email regularly for school updates regarding clinic schedules.
The University would like to thank you in advance for your understanding and agreement to receive the H1N1 influenza vaccine. We are aware that some of you may have reservations about receiving the H1N1 vaccine. The information from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (see www.cdc.gov/h1n1flu) may assist you with any questions. By each of us playing our small part, we trust that we can assure the protection and safety of your peers, family, friends and potential patients.

Dude I don't know what I would do if my school ever did this I might be on the minority of not taking it instead of going to school
my advice to you from what Ive heard i would strongly advise you
a. Make a school wide strike against this get teachers involved too
b. find a different school or threaten to leave along with half of the city's population
or
c.(the easy one) Take the shot
please note however the path that is easiest may not always be the best. |

WTF Pin this shit. Any other loma Linda students in here. I know this school gives out degrees in mostly health care.. Med school, dental, nurse, PT..etc |

Start by going to the main office and have them add a signed and notarized exemption form to your file.. After that if they put a hold on your education have a 2 dollar attorney send them a letter saying you will be looking into civil action, and reference a few cases that have already been won.
That should do it, done deal |

OP-
The mods had a thread up a few weeks ago showing exactly how you can avoid this shot by using their own laws against them. I would ask them if they can find it. Trust me, they will know which thread it is...
Mods, if you are reading this, it may be high time to pin that thread on avoiding the vaccine legally for a few days. Looks like the heat turned on...

Three things.
1. Comparing to Ukraine makes no sense because that data is for one week alone. And we don't even know if it's accurate- could be a lot more. Search the newest Ukraine threads, interesting stuff.
2. If we have a major mutation, and it's looking that way, the vax is useless anyway.
3. It's a Christian school. Have you gotten your hands on a copy of your student handbook and read the vaccination policies? I'd ignore the letter and do that first.
