It is cheaper than WU but I can't remember the rates. I think you could call them and ask. Anyway, it worked really fast, I think like fifteen minutes.

They use Moneygram but it only cost 7.00 to send money in the US. Much cheaper then most of the other ways you can send money, and very fast. They give you a reference number and the other person must have that number to pick up the money. I don't know for sure but I think they can pick it up at any moneygram location. I think the cheapest way though would be to deposit it in to his account with his account number.

You don't need to have an account at the receivers bank, just walk in to any branch even out of state or province and ask the teller to deposit the money in the account, you get a receipt and walk out. Free of charge.
