Let's see....

In the 1950's and 60's we fed the starving millions and gave them modern medicines.

Which has given us starving billions who are sick with aids, malaria, tuberculosis, and who knows what else.

We also still have both Islam and Catholic religious leaders telling their believers that birth control is a sin. Still other leaders tell them it is genocide.

We have governments all over the world who use food and water as a weapon against their own people.

Not to mention the 50 or so places in the world where there is some kind of active warfare and terrorist groups operating and burning out villages and crops and people.

We could give all those starving billions as much food as we have and unfortunately, all it would give us will be even more starving billions living in the same conditions.

Yes, it is tragic. Yes, it is despicable.

And, yes, many of those nations in the UN are very wealthy such as the OPEC states and the most affected regions of starving people are on their doorstep and they won't help them. They could spend some of our oil money on re-foresting Africa and rebuilding entire regions burned out by Islamic terrorists and crazy militia's. But they won't.

India has cows roaming all over the place and could certainly send some of them to poor African countries where cows are currency and the people need the milk and use their dung to mix with straw for cooking fires.

Until the UN gets away from the hand-out mode and gets into doing some things that might actually provide food long-term to the foodless regions, nothing will change.

You can do what you can but
the only way to fix the global problem is for the people to join together to set up the New Jerusalem so that we can eliminate the root cause of the problems.

I dont support anyone who charges for religious stuff.
I am a minister of the Gospel and I have never taken money from anyone in need. Freely get freely give.
I am not supporting the UN. I am sure there are a lot of smart people on this site who could come up with a way to help.
