Was Pope John Paul I murdered?
I'm not sure if this has been discussed here. There's a conspiracy theory that claims that Pope John Paul I was murdered because he knew about a scandal that involved members of the church. I think this claim influenced the plot of "The Godfather Part III". IIRC, criminal Freemasons and shadowy financiers teamed up with the Mafia in some scheme involving the Vatican Bank. One of the Italian Freemasons from the P2 Lodge was found dead on Blackfriar's Bridge (on the Thames?). Law enforcement officials first thought that he committed suicide, but they discovered that it was a hit job. Does this ring a bell with anyone?

Thanks for providing the name. In the movie, a character who might have been based on him, reminded me of a higher-up in the Illuminati.

I was referring to Pope John Paul THE FIRST. I think that he died in September 1979.

47. Most of the time I really respect your posts, but you are dead wrong on this one. Pope John Paul the First was a good man. He was going to expose the Vatican bank misdeeds and sack many of the cardinals. Do your research. Yes, he was poisoned.

By the way, I do not necessarily subscribe to that web site's "visions" and "prophecies." I only acknowledge that the site applies the correct dose of cynicism to bureaucracies, including the Vatican.

No...and as far as I can determine, the people who controlled him did everything to prevent his death.

While he was near death, instead of letting him die they repeatedly revived him...leading him to ask the question, What the Fuck are you doing to me? I paraphrased that last sentence.

Anyway...no he wasn't murdered and his death was very inconvenient for those who found him useful.

Thanks for that interesting article.

But I think it should be brought out just why Freemasonry was outlawed by the Catholic Church.

And why it was a Catholic Church law that anyone who was a Freemason would be automatically EXCOMMUNICATED from the Church.

That article did not mention that the god of Freemasons is Lucifer, and that needs to be known by everyone.

And the Catholic Church with all its many faults, at least did make its stand against allowing Freemasons to join the Catholic Christians by making Church laws against Freemasonry, even though as we can see that the Freemasons sneaked into it anyway, and undermined it perhaps completely.
Yet they knew exactly who was behind Freemasonry belief.

I think that people who believe they are good Christians, and want to throw stones at the "dreaded" Catholic Church should take a look at how many of their ministers are also Freemasons, and just what that really means.

Followers of Christianity are followers of Jesus' teaching.
And he taught us that we are all sons of our Father, God.

Freemason's god is Lucifer, who was an Archangel who doubted God's existence and decided to believe that he is the god of this universe.
That is a total opposition to Christian Belief in God.

Re: Was Pope John Paul I murdered?
Thread: Who killed Pope John Paul I in 1978?
What if I told you that the Vatican--seat of the Catholic Church--may be responsible for the murder of one of its own popes? Pope John Paul the First was in office just thirty-three days before he was found dead of mysterious causes and whisked away by Vatican officials with no investigation. Decoded travels to Rome and learns that the fallen Pope was at the center of a banking scandal involving Freemasons and even Mafia members operating from within the walls of the Vatican. Some even say that the scandal and the murder were foretold in a prophecy delivered by the Virgin Mary (third secret of Fatima) that the Vatican conspired to withhold from its followers. Could Pope John Paul the First, who vowed to reform corruption in the Vatican, have been murdered by the criminals he vowed to expose?
