So how are you and the fam doing now, 4 days out? My nieces both got vaccinated the first week of October and were sick with colds and runny noses, etc. within 2 weeks. They are both have negative Rhesus factor blood. I think those are the ones they want to keep around. Quoting: Luminous
We're all doing well. My almost-three-year-old has a runny nose, but everyone is perfectly healthy. My wife is O+, the kids and I are O-. Political tags--such as royalist, communist, democrat, populist, fascist, liberal, conservative, and. so forth--are never basic criteria. The human race divides politically into those who want people to be controlled and those who have no such desire. The former are idealists acting from highest motives for the greatest good of the greatest number. The latter are surly curmudgeons, suspicious and lacking in altruism. Come on, really? You're a Moderator! Doesn't that mean you're supposed to be the voice of reason? Quoting: The Guy
I AM THE VOICE OF REASON, SON, DAMN RIGHT.
And I STAND UP FOR WHAT I BELIEVE IN.
And it is my BELIEF based on PLENTY OF CREDIBLE INFORMATION that VACCINES ARE HIGHLY DANGEROUS.
And NO CHILD should ever be subjected to anything DANGEROUS.
YES. I AM THE VOICE OF REASON. |

Then you should understand my point of view. I read about the possible dangers. Heck, I even read about the impossible dangers that some people nevertheless believe. And you know what? I decided that those risks were preferable to the possibility of death by swine flu. This was my and my wife's decision for our family. If you don't agree, fine. You are free to make your own decision. However, if you're going to ridicule me and claim that I've done something wrong, I don't see that as "reason." Interesting. I would be curious to know if your wife develops flu-like symptoms or at the least a bad cold within 3 weeks of the vaccination. "When the Sun farts. The Earth sneezes. We are ONE!" ... AC 870633 |

Everyone but the baby, since she's less than six months old. I'm getting mine tomorrow. In case anyone's worried, these are preservative-free. Quoting: The Guy
there is no such things as a safe vaccine.....

Guess you didn't inform them of the known dangers and then ask THEM if THEY wanted POISON GARBAGE injected into THEIR bodies??
You come to GLP and spout a bullshit thread like this, Guy, and you're gonna get a straight answer from everyone.
You're merely getting mine. Deal with it. |

Preservative-free? Thanks for the laugh.
Why is that funny? Isn't Thimerasol one of the things everyone is worried about? The vaccine doses at military clinics don't have any.
Do you think Themerasol is the only harmful ingredient?
How about embalming fluid, Aluminium hydroxide, Aluminium phosphate, Calcium phosphate or Monosodium glutamate?
Yes, that's right... when you take the shot, you are injecting MSG straight into your blood stream.
Seems to me, you didn't do quite enough research. Quoting: elbrian
we take more germs into our body during one french kiss. also embalimg fluids was used in hamberger for who knows how long even in 1950 s . i hardly think a dot of in a small amout dose of flu vacine it will destroy anyone.. . you people need reality checks. |

It's not a bullshit thread. I promised I would start a thread to discuss any symptoms once I got the H1N1 vaccine. This is it.
Now, I ask you again to see from my point of view: I read about the risks. I did the research. I decided that the risks were worth it, just in case swine flu develops into something really bad. My wife made the same decision. What kind of parents would we be if we didn't extend that same protection to our children? Also, my oldest is four. She wouldn't understand any better than apparently you do. She'd be afraid without considering the benefits. I explained to her that she'd be sniffing some weak germs up her nose so her body could get practice in case some strong germs came along.
