Who doesn't want to be like ugly? That was one little tough son of a bitch.
Pardon me for interrupting your premature celebration, but I thought it only fair to give you a sporting chance as you are new to this game.

Re: Ugly the CatQuote

Real or not, go down to your nearest shelter and see for yourself how many animals, both cats and dogs are just given up. It sickens me to see how many people on Craigslist alone, are giving up their pets because they just can't be bothered to take care of them. Why did you get an animal in the first place?! To them it's something to easily be discarded. But they remember and they feel too.

While I realize that this kind of thing happens much more frequently than it should, especially after the holidays when all of the Christmas "surprise" pets wear off their newness and welcome, but I also think it should be pointed out how many people are falling on VERY hard and UNEXPECTED times these days. Even people who took in an animal in good faith that they would always be able to care for it, have since lost jobs, with little to no hope for another and are scratching their heads wondering how they're going to be able feed and clothe their own children, let alone make ends meet. Unfortunately, there simply is no money to continue to care PROPERLY for a pet because they can scarcely afford to feed themselves.

I think it would be a very good thing, if pet owners could receieve tax deductions just like people who have children. I would bet that many more people would be encouraged to take in unwanted animals if there was a tax break to aid in their care. Of course I can also see the great potential for abuse of this as well...

Just my 2 cents.

Well okay then, to me it's like giving up your kid because you can't spend the five fucking dollars week or whatever it costs to feed and house them.

Sorry, not an ounce of tolerance here. Pets cannot feed or house themselves or discuss transactions. They are completely dependent upon humans, like a toddler. In a way, that's how they always stay.
