I absolutely agree with you. Reform has to start somewhere. Even the Civil Rights Act had to go through stages and other amendments. The same will happen with health care.

People probably fought Social Security when it started back in 1935. But no one would say throw it out today. It protects all Americans.

We are all one species on this planet, we need to start thinking of everyone. Everyone deserves the right to have decent health. Getting insurance companies out of the middle between you and your doctor is a must.

We all feel every American deserves the right to free education. We should also feel every American deserves the right to decent health care.

Yes, Pelosi has changed the rules and language so that no one knows what things mean any more.

So the people who so desperately need this care now will get to pay for it for four years with no coverage unless they currently already have coverage anyway.

And if they do have coverage, their employer will likely not be able to keep it as is for that long before caving to the "government option" as well.

I don't know anything else to do. Start contacting the ones from other stattes? I already have on the abortion issue. They don't seem to listen at all to any of us as ALL the polls say people don't wnat this except for a sall minority. Those likely have no idea what this bill says.

This was a chance for real reform and to do something right. Instead we get this massive swindle.

Washington is not listening to the people who obstensibly elected them. They have lost any value of stewardship. It is tragic - for the people and for the nation.

There should be health care reform. However, this bill is a scheme to break the back of the populace with non-ending, ever-increasing, unrepresented taxes and hideous regulations that will diminish and kill - not uplift. It is a scam to further engourge corporations and politicans with senseless profits. Envision a blood-sucking tick. Consider who in the upper echelons of our government own stock in big pharma. Additionally, this is yet another free ride for illegals, who our government obviously values far more than it does its own citizens.

Do you think I am interested in paying for the free ride of criminal trespassers in our country, who steal our identities, ruin our financial lives, bring more gangs and crime, and take our jobs? When our own citizens are being prepped for BOHICA? When our own very ill citizens will not receive proper medical care but be left to fail and die because they cost too much money? When the citizen old ones, who carry the memories of our history and culture, have less value than recycled trash in the eyes of those who rule us? Oh, the list is long....

So bring us health reform that actually has to do with with the health of the the citizens. Bring us something that actually has to do with the well-being of the citizens of the U.S.A.

Return and tell your masters that.
