The big boys aren't going anywhere unless they take everyone, including the government with them. there is weirdness afoot tho, currency trades and treasuries are acting very strange strange today. there are steps being taken to mandate values now. not good. and it does no harm to the beauty of the sunset to understand the mysteries of the sun

WFC is okay until its stock price goes below 5 bucks and becomes a penny stock. Then it's in trouble. |

Because every week one of the more popular threads on Friday are bank closings, the mods are just getting a jump on it so relax a smidge. |

yet it will still happen when we get the closings....
My guess is 2-4 banks (small)
However next week being a holiday could swing that lower, or higher. |

This last happened after Lehman Brothers was allowed to go 'boom', with the 'Orifice of Omaha' calling it a 'once in a lifetime event.' So what are the chances of this happening twice in less a year?
Something is about to come unwound or has already and the PTB are just trying to make it to Friday's close. Maybe the can-kicking has finally come to an end and was one of the reasons that Geithner was so testy yesterday? |
