look, there is no doubt that we are getting ready for the total destruction of the Earth, AS WE KNOW IT.

5am UT it grew significantly and quite suddenly and became visible from the Stereo B, too.
...so it is not some dirt on the camera or near the Stereo A satellite.

I don't think they are "arms": more like parts of one massive "body" or "cloud" that are "hanging out" from behind the Sun.
I don't sense any doom by the way. Something is changing, but it may not effect us at all, or effect us on a positive way.

Me too...Interesting that no experts came to this thread to "debunk". Neither any reference to this on NASA's websites.
It may have come from a distance behind towards the other side of the Sun, that we can only partly see through the Stereo twins. Or it may have born in the Sun itself on that other side.
It seems to "eat up" the light from around Sun's inner core.
Can it be a freakin black hole?
Somebody with a knowledge should answer...I can't believe that no one professional who reads GLP can explain this!!! |

In regard to the dark smudges, I agree with those suggesting it is probably an imaging problem, either camera/lens contamination (that is a COMMON problem with the Stereo spacecraft), or an exposure/processing issue. Think about it - if it was that large, other solar observatories would be seeing it, and there are plenty of amateur observers who use very sophisticated equipment. You can't hide that sort of thing.
I'll be quite honest, I don't know for sure and if/when I find out the exact details I'll post it.
Some folk here seem to believe that there is a grand conspiracy, and those 'few' astronomers who have large telescopes are all in on it. Those people should go visit their local astronomy clubs, and also read a few astronomy magazines and have a look at what *thousands* of amateurs are doing, and what can be bought without any restriction. Just up the road from me is an amateur with a very capable observatory. I haven't bothered asking him as I don't see anything hugely unusual in any of this, and I have already made an enquiry to nasa that will be answered in due course. I'll pass it on.
In regard to other blobs, flares and bright thingies, that's what happens around the sun. Huge eruptions/ CME's/ solar flares, some of which are quite long-lasting and also 'sungrazers' (comets/asteroids/debris) exploding in a brief ball of flame as they get too close to the Sun. If you want to browse over all the solar obs images without understanding the nature of what is being imaged, then you will find many thousands of 'alien spacecraft' and 'doom-causing anomalies'.
But walk outside, look up. There's the Sun, as usual. No huge solar event, no black hole...
And in regard to the 'black hole', you DO know what one is? And you DO realise that they don't simply spring into existence where there is NOWHERE near sufficient mass?
And you DO realise what would happen (petty much instantaneously) if one was anywhere near the Sun or earth?
A few more questions for the 'researchers'..
- What do you think these images will look like at solar MAXIMUM? (- we are currently near a minimum...)
- How many of you have been here:

- How many of you know what a FITS image is, and why they exist?
- How many of you have downloaded the FITS software suite?

Now don't get me wrong - I haven't used the FITS images either! - I'm just not that interested and already have enough stuff to keep me occupied. But my point is that you are making inferences, and some of you are scaremongering, over low-resolution images without sufficient knowledge of the imaging process or what is likely to be in the 'real' scene.
Science, and knowledge, does NOT progress via that approach. It's the same approach used by the Nancy Lieders and James McCanneys of this world. Those folk have their followers, but their inferences (can you say "StarBurst!") and predictions (what didn't happen in 2003?) are consistently and laughably wrong, and it just hurts people, especially the gullible who get sucked in and scared. Often the innocent (eg the children of 'believers') are the victims. |

This means the sun will continue to slow down, maybe be more erratic in this for up to perhaps a day, perhaps sooner, perhaps a bit longer. This means the planet is preparing to slow her rotation. Then it will stop for a period of time, a few hours at most, and then the sun will begin moving backwards to set again in the east, or nor rise at all for some of you. This is the period of 3 days of darkness as the planet gradually stops, reverses and keeps up the reversal until the sun rises in the west.
This is the day of Judgment in your religious books, as many do not survive, and the earth changes greatly pick up, but not to the degree they do from an large axis change. We will keep the change very slow, lasting approximately a couple weeks which will slow the earth changes. We do not wish to have massive lost of life from carbon dioxide in the air.
Now, once this is flagrantly obvious to earth residents, we will start the stasis process, which will take about 4 hours. I desire earth residents that will survive this and awaken out of stasis to see this. This is in part the result of Jupiter, and why we have kept its progress greatly slowed, so we have more control. Those of you who think you are watching Jupiter are watching “Star Ship Jupiter” as Candace likes to call it, and star ship Venus too dear ones, which for the last year at least has been dancing in the sky periodically.
You on earth are not waking up much to this with Venus and other starships dancing at night. But so be it. You will awaken rapidly shortly and many religions know of what pole reversals are. If not by that name, the 3 days of darkness will get attention, when the sun begins to move backwards.
