I wouldn't recommend cooking on top of the stove other than to sear the outside.


Unfortunately, I have no other choice - I forgot to put it on last night and it's got to be cooked. :(


On top of the stove is not your best option, but I would recommend low and slow with a lot of liquid.

Use some wine along with your water or broth, it helps tenderize the meat.
