Interesting Read- The Temple Scroll

I was doing some reading on the Dead Sea Scrolls this morning, and came across the wiki for one of the specific scrolls in the set called The Temple Scroll.

Super-interesting. Do we have any resident Dead Sea Scrolls experts who might want to weigh in on this??

More specifically; has the temple been re-built to these specifications yet at all? Is this document accepted as the specs for the temple-to-be-built? Basically... what's the deal?

Just how exactly do you know this about your dog?

Just kidding... however I couldn't speak to the DSS or the Temple.

What I do know is there is this thing called the Dome of the Rock where the Temple was, so I think until that's gone, the point is moot I think.

Interesting read OP. Of particular interest to me is the description of the 'abomination of desolation'. If I'm not mistaken, the 'altar' which the Muslims crowd around for the Hajj has a meteorite in it, yes?

This was just a test...there was an OP to another thread who wanted feedback from the audience for significance to a specific reading on the Dead sea scrolls. He wasn't getting any feedback, so he complained and said sarcastically that he might as well post a thread that "my dog's nuts smell like pork rinds" to get feedback.

I've proven his point to be valid.

If you read Ezekiel chapters 40 and on you will learn. The measurement of the temple is in chapter 41. The rebuilt temple is where the Antichrist will portray himself as the Christ.
