Fearless is a great feeling for sure bro!

I personally don't *worry* about a thing... doom, our precarious & quickly declining position as a Country, the situation Worldwide ... whatever.

I'm cognizant of it all, & stay on top of things as best I can, but don't worry.

Like you, I know the end.

Hi to this fabulous thread!
Here's another one...
Years ago, driving by myself again, same car, this time on a trip to visit my sister who lives three hours away. Radio off, was thinking about the miracle with the lumber truck and joking around with Jesus trying to get a laugh out of Him. "Thanks again for straightening out that truck. Remember when I was little and would ask You to turn a penny from heads to tails? Now, of course I'm not asking this favor for a demo of Your Existence, but it's just that I'm tired and running late and miss her and just this once sure do wish it could only take an hour to drive there instead of three. Would that be at all possible, Jesus, just for fun?"
Loud and clear in my mind, then, He Laughed. The sound of His Laugh was Santa Claus and Elvis. It made me so happy to hear. After driving for another while, I noticed the clock was stopped. How funny that the time said only an hour had passed on the road, upon arriving at my sister's house.
"How'd you get here so fast?" she said,
"You just called me an hour ago on your way out the door". Yep.

I must admit....I usually skip over threads like this...mainly because they end up being just religious rhetoric...and brings out the haters & naysayers...not to mention that many are judgmental self-absorbed thumpers, who have the slightest ideal as to what they preach or testify....just Scripture quoter(s) nothing more!

But this one thread for some reason drew me to sit & read it....and I'm glad I did...for it was touching and not another religious themed posting....Divinely driven instead!

But, isn't that what the true meaning of GOD & his fellowship with us should be...Divinely...not Religiously?

Well done OP....Well Done!

My nephew Kevin, shot though the mouth with a bad kind of bullet, I think they call it a hollow point, it was and accident. I even asked for prayer on here, he woke up soon
after.

He had a new type of surgery that had been used for other things but not for the brain, the spine at the base of his brain. He is doing good except for the small stroke he had before surgery, a little weakness on one side but he can walk and use his leg and arm he just need a little more exercise on them.

He is back at school, flirting with girls and being a normal young man.

Yes! this was a real miracle even the doctor said so. God was in charge that night and I still thank all who prayed for his healing, it worked fast!

My mother was diagnosed with a type of cancer that was one of the (bad) ones.....don't remember the name. The dr made an appt for the very next day to do surgery on her. When they got it out and did tests on it....it turned out to be the (not) so bad cancer!!!!!! May seem trivial to some but to hear that your mom was one day in a fight for her life to the next day she is being told it wasnt what they thought is a true miracle! Praise God!

I believe that 100%.

You ought to read Remember This's story earlier in the thread:

I suppose I should tell my "miracle"

Here goes:

I had a job out on the Eastern Plains of Colorado about 50 miles East of Denver to put in a couple of Bay Doors for an old farmer I met in Denver.
I was on the last day of the job and was heading home right smack in the middle or a fairly healthy blizzard.
I was coming down the on-ramp to I-76 heading home and was just up to speed when I saw a car lose control on the other side of the freeway and flip and roll ...coming to a stop on its side.
I freaked...slammed on the brakes and stopped....I got out, waited for a break in the traffic, and ran as fast as I could across the field between the East and West bound lanes.

That was the beginning of the miracle...you see I have some pretty bad leg problems...
My right leg was crushed by a one ton boulder when I was about 30...The Surgeon for the Denver Broncos put it back together for me as best as possible :)
However, you can imagine how hard that made walking for a LONG time, it never really healed up right and is still numb to this day above the knee.
Both knees have arthritis
I have heel spurs...I wear Orthotics
Now the miracle gets even better....I think maybe God may have just picked me up and carried me across this field...Im a heavy MFer so you can imagine LOL
I ran like never before ...like Gump himself.
I was totally and without a doubt convinced this vehicle was going to explode...No matter ...I made the decision I was going to do this, and nothing was going to stop me.
I made it to the vehicle in what seemed like ...seconds, and it was sparking, smoking, leaking fuel and burning lightly in spots.
I yelled out to whoever was inside and got a response, it was a young womans voice...terrified and freaking out, I climbed up the side and saw she was belted in and appeared OK.
This is where the miracle really kicked in....she was traumatized, and not cooperating very well with my instructions.
The fumes were building and an explosion was imminent ..I could feel it coming....I looked down at her...told her she had to undo her belt now and give me her hand or we will both die on the freeway in the middle of nowhere by fire.
She got the message instantly....unsnapped the belt and of course fell further in as she was released...she reached up, I grabbed her hand and was able to lift her completely out of the car...in one jerk.
Mind you, I'm strong ...but not that strong and she was pretty beefy LOL (18 year old Nebraska Girl driving home from a visit to a College...CORNFED gal)

As we turned to run, its like time slowed (Im shaking as I type this) and the first thing I noticed....

There were no footprints in the snow from my run in....

Next was a sense of calm...like the worst was over ya know?
And then we both walked..not ran, back over to the other side of the freeway to my truck.
As we got to my truck, I looked back ...expecting this car to blow...and it never did (Even the firemen were stunned at that).
And still to this day...I will swear on whatever I am asked to..that there were only 2 sets of footprints...leaving.

My brother was dying of Hepatitis (heavy drinker) and his liver was shutting down. He was getting inferon treatment, but it failed and his only hope was a transplant. He called me and broke down on the phone when he told me. I explained to him that God can do ANYTHING and as Yashua said "What any two ask in his name he will grant". He was a devout atheist but agreed to pray with me on the phone. I lead the prayer and we agreed to meet up when I got back home. He went to the Dr. the next day for status tests and the Dr. took some blood/urine samples. The following day his Dr. said that they must have mixed up his samples and wanted him to come back for more samples. When the Dr. repeated the test, it came back perfectly normal. He was totally cured! The Dr. told him that the inferon must have had a delayed effect as he couldn't explain it any other way. That was over 6 years ago and he is now a christian and his liver is perfect!

Re: Have you ever witnessed a Miracle? I have, more than once. Post it here, if so. I'll start...
Years ago, myself, 2 friends, & our girlfriends went to Gladewater on Pentecost to check out a bud who was starting a Ministry at his place.

Not a group of religious stuff-shirts, were we...
& neither was the guy starting the Ministry (Bro. Ben).

I was in a Metal band, w/ almost waist-length hair, & everyone else was similar.

When we arrived, the girls stayed up by the main bldg to have a look around while us guys went down to the lake (lakeside property,) to fire up the grill.

We hadn't been there for 10 minutes, when a scream came from up the hill where the girls were.

Amy, my bud Joe's soon-to-be wife was the one who had screamed, & when we ran up the hill, we found her holding Christopher, their son, & frantically brushing dozens & dozens of fire-ants off of him.

Christopher was 2 at the time, and deathly allergic to ants & bees. One bite would cause huge swelling & a feverish/allergic-type reaction on a normal day... & he'd stepped right out of the car & into the middle of a fire-ant hill, & had dozens of bites all over him.

By the time we reached them (45 seconds?) Christopher had stopped crying.

He began to have trouble breathing.

Large amounts of fluid started coming from his mouth & nose every time he'd exhale, his breathing sped up terribly, he turned white as a sheet (except the bites, which were already nickel/dime size & red), started sweating & began to visibly stiffen.

I'm telling you, I saw his eyes start to glaze over.

What was happening is that he was going into Anaphylactic Shock.

This baby was dying right before our eyes & there was nothing WE could do, since we were at least 20 miles from the nearest Hospital & the changes I describe happened to him in just a couple of minutes.

It was the WORST thing that could've happened... and calling 911 wasn't even an option.

We ran him inside, stripped him to his underwear (frantic ant search), laid him on the floor & without thinking about it, the four of us (Joe, Ben, Russell, & me) laid our hands on him & began to pray.

Rick stayed outside with the girls, who were all trying to calm Amy.

He was stiff as a board, cold, breathing VERY shallowly & quickly, & staring blankly at the ceiling... at nothing.

Within 30 or so seconds (who knows? It was intense) We watched a LINE, literally a LINE, appear at his feet & begin to move slowly up his body towards his head.

Before the line was dying child, covered in huge red welts...

Behind the line was coloring skin, & disappearing welts...

When the line reached the top of his head, he suddenly jumped up, ran over to the bookshelf, & began pulling books off the shelf... just like a normal 2 yr old.

A fire-ant bite usually showed on this kid for DAYS... red swollen, & irritated... sometimes a single bite would sicken him.

But within 30/45 minutes, the welts had reduced to small pimple-like marks, & were gone almost completely by the following morning.

Instantly & completely healed.

No adverse effects.

I promise this is true.

Needless to say, we left immediately, despite what we'd seen happen, because his parents wanted to get him to a doctor.

We stopped to get gas on the way back & Joe said to me:

"Man, when we were Praying, did you hear Bro. Ben speaking in tongues?"

"It wasn't like when you hear guys on TV do it... fake sounding, it was like music... like a language."

I told him that Ben had done no such thing (none of us did or do), and I knew this, since Ben & I were shoulder-to-shoulder throughout the entire event.

He said "Yes he was!" "It was the loudest thing in the room!"

To convince him, I called Russell, who confirmed what I told him.

I looked at him & (goosebumps here) said "You are the only person I've ever known who heard the VOICE of the Holy Spirit pleading before the Throne for the life of your child.

He could hear it, because he was Christopher's dad, & was frantic for the life of his son.

The doctor gave Christopher some Benadryl, since he couldn't find anything really wrong.

That's one.

Another experience:

A ex-co-worker of mine who helped lead me to Christ several years prior contracted alopecia areata (incurable) and lost ALL of his body hair even his eye lashes. He called me to tell me about it and that his faith was shaken. We talked for a while and I told him about the other healings that I witnessed and asked if he would pray for me. So I lead him in prayer and told him that God is with him always. I didn't see or hear from him again for about a month. We hooked back up and ALL of his hair completely returned! In fact it was thicker than it was before he contracted the disease.

Bible way to Heaven
Know your a sinner
Rom 3:23 KJV - For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
realize the penalty for Sin..hell
Rev 21:7 KJV - He that overcometh, shall inherit all things, and I will be his God, and he shall be my sonne.
Rev 21:8 KJV - But the feareful, and unbeleeving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone , which is the second death.
Who is he that overcometh?
1Jo 5:5 KJV - Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?
Jesus was born of a virgin lived a sinless life, the life that none of us could live, was crucified by hes own people he died and went to hell, rose again on the third day so you do not have to go there...
Rom 5:8 KJV - But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Jesus wants to give us the Gift of eternal Life for free!!
Rom 6:23 KJV - For the wages of sin [is] death: but the gift of God [is] eternal life, through Jesus Christ our Lord.

So why not call upon him and make him your saviour.. its a free gift and once your saved you have passed from death to life... you will live forever..
Jhn 5:24 KJV - Verily, verily I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation: but is passed from death unto life.
Rom 10:9 KJV - That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart, that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Rom 10:10 KJV - For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Rom 10:11 KJV - For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him, shall not be ashamed.

Heres a simple prayer which if you mean it with your heart will see you saved and on your way to heaven..
Dear Jesus I know im a sinner , I know i deserve to goto Hell, but I realize you died and rose again please forgive my sin and take me to heaven when i die.. im only trusting you Jesus Amen..

Salvation is easy and Free.

The next step is to be Baptised, Jesus said
Jhn 14:15 KJV - If ye love me, keep my commandments.
But if you don't do these things you still have the Gift of eternal life... so Rejoice.. but Id advise you to follow Jesus and read hes word.. start of in the book of John KJV
Find a Baptist church that preachs By Grace Through Faith , no repent of your sins for salvation heresy, KJV (1611) only..

I used to be like AC 420, all I believed in was science and thought that God was a fairy tale. But then I started to read scripture and my eyes were opened.

AC read my posts and check out the other thread I posted on:
Thread: "Share your Beliefs Prayers and Miracles"

These are true accounts of actual miracles! YAHWEH is active in our lives and has never left us!

In 1989 on a friday night my than 12 year old Son, came from out on the balcony and told me to quickly come outside.

When I went outside in the sky was a perfect image of
Our Lady Help of Christians, The night sky was perfectly clear with not even a slight cloud.

The image was large and very clear with the crowns on Our Lady and the infant Jesus and all the details of their clothing etc perfectly visible. We watched in amasement for a minute or so than a grey cloud came from nowhere and covered the image over, the cloud covered the image but we could still see the complete outline of the image, than a black cloud came across and completely covered the image.

We expected it to be the news of the day the next morning, but, not at that stage realising that the image was meant for us only.

We told a few family members and friend but the reception was rather negative so I certainly kept the gift to myself and have only revealed it to a few people since.

Our Lady Help of Christians is the official patroness of Australia

Family *can be* the last place for someone to believe something that's happened that can be considered Miraculous or otherwise supernatural.

My Mom tends to take things like these in with a super-skeptical eye & with doubt being her primary response, although she's a Christian.

My Dad is wide-open, as he's experienced them first-hand.
I am a Christian.

If you're sincere, that's it.

what about temptations to sin, feeling dual?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 784375

Everyone has those.

Even Christ was tempted, but resisted & prevailed... we're to do the same.

When we fail, we Repent (stop doing whatever it was), & ask His Forgiveness.
 Quoting: ScrumpTheTexan

Why do you continue to repent and ask for His forgiveness? When He has already wiped all your sins away once and for all.

When the jewish people would make the yearly atonement sacrifice of bulls and goats that would wipe away their sins for a year..
How long would the eternal royal blood of Christ wash away your sins for?
So why the need of constant repentance and asking for forgiveness?
Under God's Grace He remembers our sins no more.

Because you are washed by the Blood of the Lamb, God sees you as righteous.
Just as Christ took all of our sins and infirmities at the cross; We are able to take on His Righteousness while in this world.

..As He is so are we in this world.

That's just the way I roll AC... I screw up like anyone else, and it's right to me to do so.

Just like I don't tell anyone how to worship, & I do my own thing as I'm an individual, non-denominational, irreligious (in the sense that I don't adhere to man-made religious denominational doctrine, I have my own personal relationship with God through Christ), Christian.

And that's how I do it.

I'm non-denominational too. I don't like religion, but I like Christ.
I've been studying about living under God's Law or God's Grace.. and it's really opened my eyes.

Let me tell you living under His Grace is definitely the way to go.
No longer am I trying my best to be right with God... Or trying to achieve some high standing with God. No longer do I feel condemned and guilty.

It all boils down to His performance at the Cross.
It all boils down to the perfect work He's done by dying for my sins.
Everything is based on His goodness and not my screw ups or my instability.

He is MY solid foundation now and not me/ my short comings.
As a result, I am able to easily draw closer to him and make the right choices because He has been so Good to me.

Well I just wanted to share my 2cents & you're welcome!
