I haven't witnessed one yet but could sure use some prayers for my little boy. He's had stomach problems for 3 months now. In the hospital right now again. Looks like they found something a possible mass in the ultrasound. I know nobody here knows me but if you can spare a minute and send out a prayer for my little man Richard, it would mean more to me than you can imagine. Should know more tomorrow. thanks

UPDATE:
Well, we're in the ICU. After a very stressful few days there seems to be a bit of relief. Yesterday we took our little man up for a biopsy to see what we were dealing with. About an hour into the operation (and a great deal of crying & praying) the doctor call and said she thought she would be able to get most of the tumor out. A great relief for us for no other reason than it looks like it'll be the only operation he'll have to have. We will not know what the biopsy will show and have a few days before they will know anything. Keep praying for non cancer!

Now for my moment of peace I encountered.
45 minutes into his operation I stepped outside to clear my mind and pray. I was standing in front of the hospital under the pedestrian bridge in the shadows. It was a cold, cloudy day with some snow starting. I began to talk to God and ask for him to help my little boy. What came to mind was a movie he's been having us watch over and over and over...The Polar Express. There's a scene at the end of the movie where the little boy who can't here santa's bell says over and over "I believe, I believe" so that's what I said over and over as honest as I have ever said it. Then as if I my words were finally heard the sun shined on my face and illuminated my closed eyes. The feeling I had was stunning and when I opened my eyes fear had left and I felt like it was all going to be ok. I went back in and 10 minutes later the doctor called.
All that being said I know we may not be out of the woods yet but something deep down tells me it's all right.

Thank you all for your prayers and please continue to pray for my little man. I will keep you posted as I know more.
