Art Bell was a legend ive listend to so many of his shows, but there are two things i that dissapoint me about him.
1. He fully brought and supported the man made global warming scam. And 2. he fully supported and belived the offical 9/11 story.
It will be interesting to see how he feels about the CRU hack and the PROOF that it was all a big scam. He will either ignore it as if it hasnt happend, or he will poo poo it and pretend its not important. |

George Noory is a gentlemen. Perhaps some of you don't understand the concept of a kind host who would rather listen than talk over his guests. Most of you are so used to the bickering and aggressive O'Reilly types that you really can't appreciate how refreshing it is to be able to actually hear what a guest has to say without constant interruptions.
I like all of the hosts on C2C, but please stop picking on George, it's really unjustified. |

For those fans of late night radio, here's a trivia question for ya. Who hosted the highest rated late night radio show before CTC, which has held that position since the late 1980's. It was Larry King! Broadcasting from Miami and then Washington, Larry was the King of late night radio before he gave it up to go to CNN. Both of these guys are icons, are legends to the late night, second shift, insomniac, stoned and drunk out of your mind up all night radio audience, and are irreplaceable. Cherish them while they're still around. |

Yes, Art is fully in the camp of the Al Gore types concerning global warming. This morning he said that he had read a number of the hacked emails but couldn't find anything that said the science behind it had been doctored.
That made me wonder where he was coming from, plus there are the 30,000 scientists who debunk the idea of global warming that he didn't mention.

Though Art Bell is a great host he can be a pompous ass sometimes lately. IT seems like someone threaten Art and that is the main reason he left the country, other than to be with his wife's family. The later it got in Art's career the more tame he got with his questions and guests and the more of an ass he became. He is still the best out of the C2C broadcasters.
He murdered his wife and got away with it, so he sold everything and left.
I hope he gets karmic payback for it.
I depise his old ass. His new wife should be made to pay for it too.
Personally, I enjoy George Knapp the most. Noory and Punnett are okay. You want perfection? Then go do the same thing perfectly. I think those who incessantly complain about C2C should just not listen. The only reason they do must be to just find something to bitch about. Getting a life always helps that.
Bell, I used to really, really like him. Then his wife - his self-claimed "love of his life" - died. And he was remarried six weeks later. That was definitively NOT cool. There was a thread here yesterday postd by a Dutch poster that said some Dutch officials were concerned about Iran doing this off a cargo ship in port at Rotterdam.
It is VERY real possibility and an attack of this kind has been a concern of our own military for some time.
Great show and great host.
First time I have listened in ages.
And yes, George Noory does suck! He makes comments that are totally random and have nothing to do with what the guest just said or the subject at hand. Just rambles. |

I think art bell may have trouble living alone. I remember him talking about how he couldn't sleep at night with the closet door open. That tells me that he has issues with fear. If my wife passed on (God forbid!) and my children weren't around, I too may consider remarrying not long after - It doesn't mean I didn't love my wife or that I caused her demise, I'd just rather be with someone that be alone on this rock out here in the cold cosmos.
Having said that, 6 weeks does seem a bit short for grieving the lost of a "soul-mate", but I prefer to leave judgment up to Him who is able to see all sides of the dimension and not just the one side we see.

IRAN EMP PULSE ATTACK
was on a conference call yesterday with Newt Gingrich and Bill Fortschen sponsored by FDD on the topic of missile defense. The danger posed by a number of our enemies due to the missiles they already have, and the obvious problems with North Korea and Iran attempting to gain significant capabilities were discussed. There were calls to contact members of Congress ahead of upcoming votes to stop the reductions to funding for many programs that really comprise our only likely defense to these threats. If you accept that these rogue nations present the possibility that we could lose 100k people to a successful nuke-tipped missile attack, the need for a robust missile defense is fairly straightforward.
What really caught my attention though were discussions of the threat posed by an Electro-Magnetic Pulse strike using an aerial detonated nuclear weapon. This problem has been around since the Cold War and is exacerbated by our heavy dependence on electronic circuitry to run almost every important aspect of our society. Some believe a large enough blast at the right altitude could cripple infrastructure and most everything else across the entire country. Even if they just wiped out NYC it could be catastrophic as power, sewer, communications and every piece of electronics turned to mush.
One of the problems with any missile defense system is that it assumes a launch from an identifiable and trackable location that we can intercept at that site, during boost phase, in space or as last resort during re-entry. Anti-Ballistic Missile (ABM) systems can't account for other creative delivery methods our enemies can use. Newt discussed the fact that the Iranians have launched Scud missiles from the decks of ships in the Caspian Sea and there are documents showing they are working on vertical launch capabilities from container ships. That would allow them to float right into a harbor and throw a missile up in the air. If it was set for an EMP air blast, there wouldn't be a thing we could do to stop it. Or they could just get close to the shore and shoot ship to shore and the very small window for us to detect and track would make it near impossible for us to take one out. Go a step further and put a nuke device on a charter aircraft coming to the US from anywhere else and we would never know it was en route until it goes off on approach to JFK.
This actually argues that real defense against a missile attack could not rely only on expecting to shoot down what they send our way, but would need strong intelligence gathering and active interdiction of enemy programs. Again we would not be able to rely on electronic intelligence (ELINT) gathering methods which are our only serious tool now. We desperately need to rebuild our human intelligence (HUMINT) capabilities that were gutted during the Carter administration. Spy games are dirty business and their inherent distastefulness as well as some serious over steps led to our basically leaving that business. That decision in large part is why we simply don't know what is going on pretty much anywhere. If we want to ensure that those building hellish weapons can't use them against us, then we need a combination of in depth missile defense and forward reaching intel and interdiction efforts to destroy those systems.
The problem is we do not have the stomach or will to do that |

Inspite of early claims to being a "patriot", he kept talking about the holocaust.
Yes, he's an Israeli Jew.
He wants to scare Americans to lobby Congress in favor of war with Iran.
That's what it was all about.
Scared Israelis wanting the US to "save" them by doing the fighting and dying for Israel.
The US has a greater threat of an EMP attack from Jews than anyone else.
The guest whined that Chinses Army techs were "in the wiring" of all US grids, especially the nuclear ones.
But Jews are in the gold of every soldered connection.
