Evolution is nothing but mutation. It is more evident in life forms that reproduce many generations in weeks or a few years.
A simple definition of evolution is a mutation that is benefical to a species that helps it adapt and survive in a given enviornment and that mutation can be passed on to future generations.
Think of bacteria that 10 years ago could be killed by anti-biotics now today is immune to the anti biotics that easily killed it's ancestors.
Why?..a mutation occured. At one point one bacteria from the same strain was immune to the anti-biotic and that benifical mutation was passed on.
That evolution exists should be pretty much of a no brainer.
We are more complex than bacteria and haven't mutated in thousands of years because as lifeforms we are stable in our enviornment.
If the enviornment changes drastically we will either mutate and evolve or die out.
It's that simple.

God states on the very FIRST page of the Bible that all life EXCEPT MAN - the Adamic race - came out of the sea (Evolution or Creation) - Genesis chapter 1 verse 20. Afterwards God CREATED (Adam) man, SEPARATELY, on the sixth day.

Genesis 1:20 And God said, Let the WATERS bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl [that] may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.

Before his death, Darwin acknowledged that there was a "missing-link" and he admitted that he was wrong about the Adamic Race having evolved from apes.
