Quoting: shylaMy electricity is being cutoff so I won't be on till it is back on. Have a wonderful holiday and new year, I will see you again soon. Take care ;-) have you looked into assistance for your electricity? every state has some sort of assistance. theres LIHEAP [link to en.wikipedia.org] and most towns have and states have other avenues for emergency help with power bills. s Yes I looked in to it but since the bill is in my husband's uncle's name and he died last year they cannot help us. I explained the circumstance to them but without him being alive and able to present them with a photo i.d they cannot help because of regulations. He must be present to verify identity and he must seek the help. But I do thank you for the link as I'm sureothers need help also and someone may be able to benefit from it and get help. Kinda hard to be present when you are dead. Take his death cert to them and just get the bill in your name. easy nuff Last Edited by Hitndahedfred on 01/10/2010 02:34 PM Each time a person stands for an ideal, or acts to improve the lot of others, or strikes out against injustice, he or she sends forth a tiny ripple of hope. And crossing each other from a million different centers of energy and daring, those ripples build a current that can sweep down the mightiest walls of oppression and resistance. Few are willing to embrace the disapproval of their fellows, the censure of their colleagues, the wrath of their society. Moral courage is a rarer commodity than bravery in battle or great intelligence. Yet it is the one essential vital quality for those who seek to change a world that yields most painfully to change.
