I'd tell him he has a good plan. A plan 'A' and a plan 'B' to get through the rat race coming in the years ahead. I would tell him plan 'A' didn't work out about 7 years in the future so it was a good thing plan 'B' was there. I'd also tell him he should be commended for keeping it in his pants as a teen.

Re: What would you say to your 17-year-old self if you could go back in time?
The only problem with this scenario is that once your 17 yo self took a different path, you would immediately be a COMPLETELY different person -- different memories, different relationships, different tragedies and different ecstacies. And as in all things in life you would like some things and other things you would not. But would it be better?

Re: What would you say to your 17-year-old self if you could go back in time?
Remembering July.
This is the fullness of the year and the ‘spirit of the summer.’ A collective madness apparently sweeps over everyone as passions run high and events reach a peak: schools break up for summer holidays and folk begin to head off for annual breaks. In July, it is useful to continue the work of June. If the detoxification process has released unexpressed ‘toxic’ emotions, it is important not only to release them, but also to ensure they do not reassert themselves to affect our lives negatively. As Odinists, a negative effect in the light of this month’s message about the interdependence of all life forms would be one that isn’t conducive to good relationships - both with oneself and with others.

One of the scourges of modern times brought about by the monotheistic mind-set and alienation from nature has been the creation of low self-esteem amongst our folk. Good self-esteem is an essential part of the indomitable spirit that enables us to face challenges joyfully and to recognise them as an important part of life and evolution- to strive to overcome them in the quest to hone ourselves on the anvil of experience. Conversely, if lacking, life can become an alienating, fear-based struggle and in many, this perception induces the apathy that so rampantly infects the folk soul today. Ultimately, this negative self-perception not only pollutes our relationships with other people, but also dishonours all life because the recognition of its inherent divinity is lost. Thus, the person treats it as such - as we see happening on a global scale with mass environmental devastation. Sadly, most of this arises from the negative perceptions foisted upon us by others, particularly in our early years, and these need to be recognised for what they are and discarded when found wanting.

There are many ways of approaching this problem such as affirmation, play, visualising yourself as confident etc. - and others too numerous to rehash here. However, perhaps the essential core of this work is the recognition that all life is sacred and is about diversity and balance in motion; and that includes the individual as a sacred expression of the life-force and God forces. Therefore there are times to work, rest and play - all of which have a place in life. Meanwhile, things that cause us to feel unreasonably stressed for too long may be a signal that we are not listening to our intuition on what’s truly best for us - and ultimately all - in the scheme of things. Like all good things, this requires practise; but it is the practise and recognition of the results that builds the experience and hence, confidence and trust in our abilities - all of which are integral to our relationships. During this month, continue also to nurture yourself with plenty of sunshine, fresh air and exercise to store energy for the darker times ahead and strengthen the Odic force within.

Exactly, if what you say to yourself causes you to take a different path that causes you not to end up in the position to time travel and talk to yourself it would destroy your time traveling existence.
No one has ever seen a perfect circle, nor a perfectly straight line, yet everyone knows what a circle and a straight line are.
Perceived circles or lines are not exactly circular or straight, and true circles and lines could never be detected since by definition they are sets of infinitely small points.

Re: What would you say to your 17-year-old self if you could go back in time?
Stay strong..

For you have came here to witness something beautiful in the evolution of planet gaia....

There will come a time in your life later when you will start to awake to things that will make you feel as if you may be crazy and others will not listen at first, too these new insights.....

You will feel a continual degree of rejection, all of your life until a point....

This along with many other trials will be the fire that molds you into your true purpose for being here for this last round....

You will be one of many..to help as many as can be.....TOO EVOLVE....

Religion will fall and economy and the entire system....

Many FOOLS will FOOLISHLY DIE, because of their inability to look at the LIES in their lifes and recognize them as such...

The earth will be cleansed and the elect shall inherit it...

You will then walk in paradise and never again put a value on ANYTHING or ANYONE....YOU POSSES NOTHING..

You will SHARE the TRUE HISTORY and SCIENCE of the planet with EVERYONE FREELY.....

We will FINALLY LEARN from the past and NEVER be DOOMED to RPEAT THE ACTIONS OF THEM.......

YOU WILL finally learn that making things manifest.....IS simply calling it into exhistance..

You and others WILL finally understand all things that are REAL...

Smile and know that you are indeed, a lucky young man and truly here for a great purpose....and so are many others that will be helping..

NEVER be responsible again for another persons emotions and do no harm and all will manifest...

I cannot tell you all the things that will happen, as that would be a way to possibly prevent the moldings that you will need to go through....

However, you will know that these things are all true that I tell you, when a mass of people between 2008 and 2009, will be suddenly awakening to ideas and conspiracys, that have never been exploited at this huge of a level, in many millenia...

They will turn from their T.V. and start eductaing themselves on computers and gathering on websites to share their new and daily convaluted ideas, in search for the bigger truths...

They will start eating better and spending more time in the sun and in nature and will suddenly in the process of a year or so, will start becoming healthy and partaking of sacred herbs and more aware of their surroundings and more driven to make change....

The days will seem shorter after about a year of this awakening....in the winter

THE ELECT...will start becoming SICK AND TIRED of THE COMPUTERS AND FORUMS....

THEY WILL START TO AWAKEN to finding the real truth elsewere and in their moment of despair and emotional tiresome from the months of COUNTLESS HOURS of ENDLESS RESEARCH.....they will still feel NO REAL PEACE FOR THE TRUTH....

AND THEN THEY GET IT.....COMPUTERS OFF.....GAME WILL BE ON..

That is all that I can tell you........you and many others...ARE THE ONE.

EVERYTHING EVOLVES THIS TIME

Hindsight is always 20/20, so what mistakes would you correct by talking to your 17 yr. old self?

Any advice you'd give yourself at 17?

Re: What would you say to your 17-year-old self if you could go back in time?
Right now I would say GOOD JOB as I didn't follow what everyone else was doing (partying, drinking, drugs, sex etc). I blew off that type of lifestyle as I found it distasteful in high school. I went to two parties when I was a teen, and refused to go after that as they were boring. All they did was smoke pot and drink (I chose a soda lol while they were puking from too much alcohol). I even passed the bowl by as I did not smoke nor did I want to smoke pot. This caught on as one girl saw me passing the bowl by, she started doing the same thing so did another. (maybe I should have gone to more parties?? lol)

I saw how this lifestyle wrecked a lot of lives as I watched a few school mates from 10th grade to 12th grade knocked up swollen and unhappy and dropping out. I also saw what drugs and drinking caused. I did not want that to happen to me.

Pursue your passion of astronomy no matter what the damn job outlook book says! God laid it on your heart for a reason, just don't let yourself stagnate at public observatories.

And dump that GE stock into gold the moment you inherit it, while it's still worth something. Your uncles will think you're crazy, but you'll wind up on top.
