BRIEF AND TO THE POINT User ID: 828303 United States 12/02/2009 07:02 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Four billion is a lot of cash, but they will burn through it and be living in a cave again. When people who have never learned how to handle money suddenly get a bunch of it, they always loose it. Poor people do poor people things, and rich people do rich people things. You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity by legislating the wealthy out of prosperity. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friend, is the beginning of the end of any nation. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it! when you rob Paul to give to Peter ... ... ... you will always get Peters support! :Brieffromnativea: |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 656642 United States 12/02/2009 08:42 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I actually feel kind of sorry for them. They still think that money equals happiness. Yes, they will most likely blow through the majority of the money. Yes, now women will be attracted to their money. They will most likely be scammed for much of the money. I hope that since they are used to living "frugally" and looking for scrap to sell to exist that they quickly get over the initial spending spree. Sounds like the grandmother was a real piece of work and couldn't even raise their mother to have morals/values. Why would anyone ever abandon their children? What type of person does it take for the child to sever all ties to their mother. Again, even though the grandmother could BUY anything she wanted, she couldn't BUY her daughter's love and respect nor could it BUY morals/values for her daughter. |
