COME OUT WITH OUR TOYS, NOT TO HARM THE PEOPLE; BUT SO THAT THE TRUTH MAY BE KNOWN. |

It's a stealth UAV - supposedly a spy drone, but it looks a lot like it's capable of carrying a bomb or two to boot. It's been spotted around Afghanistan a few times lately, nicknamed the Beast of Kandahar, and so I suppose they figured it wasn't worth trying to keep so secret any more. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 774515[link to www.aviationweek.com] umm, sorry, but that's NOT a black triangle. That's a mini B2 Stealth bomber that is unmanned. THIS is a black triangle: [link to www.budoniambiente.org] If you've ever seen one, you will see immediately that the "declassified" drone you refer to is NOT a flying triangle. |

I am talking 'tier 3', and the other one we have that is large, silent, triangular and has many small rectangular lights lengthwise along the edge of the delta wing - on the underside - and a very bright noselight .. looks like a 'V' from underneath - have never seen a photo of it, but it was sighted in Tucson leaving Davis Montham AFB in 2004. |

I totally believe that there are other "flying triangles/"V"'s" that have been developed since then. I've seen a few vids/pics that show the "V" craft as well. I've personally seen two of the flying triangles, one in '95 in the Drumheller valley in Alberta (witnessed by lots of people, it was freaking HUGE!) and one in Saskatchewan just this year. The second was smaller than the first but was the classic triangle shape. The first moved far too slowly to be a stealth aircraft like the newly declassified UAV, and the second hovered in place for nearly an hour before shooting off in a streak of light. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 774515[link to www.aviationweek.com] The recently declassified RQ170 is not shown as black, that was a bit of a riddle to the revealers. But then there are in fact still F117's flying around and they are black. Not in the panhandle myself, but mid-Nebraska, and I slept in today until 2:30 its a long ways to the panhandle from here. As a kid growing up in the lower part of the panhandle near Warren AFB Missle Bases we saw a considerable number of UFO's.. but then some of the silos were only a mile or two from our house. You can expect to see more and more 'flying saucer' stuff flying about. The cat is out of the bag, that these things have been being built since at least the late 1930's... not in any great numbers but then have been built by people. And now with the computer control technology its getting even easier to build your own working flying saucer, that is if you have the money and space needed... and are a very daring test pilot to fly your own. This is part of what Ballon Boy Dad was up to, something that seems to have gone right on by the MSM.. it was stated but not really explored by the MSM, sort of really really played down. He could have pulled just about any sort of publicity stunt about a missing son and no one would have gotten all bent out of shape as this stuff happens. He got the inquistion he did because he had let the 'cat out of the bag' so they had to do damage control to shut him up. |

What part of Classified Top Secret don't many of your get? There is still stuff from the Spanish American War of 1898 still classified as Top Secret. The RQ170 for instance is based on a very early Horten Bros flying wing design of the mid 1930's the only thing they really lacked was a decent engine and decent flight control systems. The Gotha Go 229, left as an unfinished prototype at the end of WWII was build of RADAR stealth materials, plywood, expoxy and carbon, asorbing a fair amount of RADAR and scattering the reflection of the rest of the RADAR beam, in some flight aspects it would have appeared on RADAR as if it was a sparrow, smaller even than a hawk in flight. The one "flying triangle" you do not ever want to see flying over your head is the Hell Hound Missle... because you will be dead in a day or two after seeing it because of severe radiation poisoning. One of American military aviations dumbest and most dangerous ideas. |
