cleanse, detox, go raw. don't put anything on your skin you wouldn't eat. eliminate all dairy. eliminate all refined sugar. eat no processed foods. get a roll of ph strips and stay alkaline...avoid petrochemical voodoo patent medicine at all cost..your body can and will heal if you stop abusing it. we are made to get chronically ill by design and then kept on an endless treadmill seeking temporary relief from symptoms. end of story.

so what causes people with seb derm to have to eat like this while others can eat "normal" or whatever-they want diets and not have this problem? you say go raw like it's some simple thing to do

lemon juice (bottled or fresh) 1 part to 3 parts water...... slather self after bathing ...... additionally you can mix in some off the shelf jock itch / yeast infection antifungal cream on your palms too..... whatever you do, do NOT indulge your gp or specialist's coricosteroid creams.... they do nothing but remove inflammation and THIN your skin layers & blood vessels PERMANENTLY.... the same yeast that turns fungal when it attacks your scalp or other thin-skin areas, it'll affect diff areas differently but it ALWAYS moves aggressively. slather and leave on.... it doesn't stink ike apple cider. peace. hf i did it when i was covered in open weeping sores, yes, it burns like a bitch but it's better than the itching burning, and FESTERING.... acid kills the yeast/fungus, the vit C directly applied heals the skin almost overnight, you'll notice a vast difference./... let the slabs of dying skin flake off.

Absolutely not an easy thing to do. One of possibly the hardest things you will ever set out to accomplish. The basic logic behind this approach is sound that is the way we are designed to eat and live, the fact that some get away with the standard American diet and bathing in a sea of commercial toxic waste products is...they don't. Each individual will start to suffer ill effects at some level eventually. The deleterious effects of poor nutrition occur over generations it actually damages the DNA code and gets worse every generation. Poor eating, toxic exposure, emotional trauma, poor conditioning are all going to effect not only the individual but be handed down to their offspring.

Re: Any GLPrs feel like they are doomed by seborrheic dermatitis?
btw, i SUFFERED MY ENTIRE LIFE with various 'diagnosed' forms od "Dematitis"..... worsened 12 yrs ago with unwanted cats from then-wife,, ....it turned absolutely unmanageable about 2 years ago, and yes, for about a year i was hellbent on finding a more natural CURE than the temp CORTICOSTEROID poisons they wanted me to buy and toxify myself with.... i went from weeping patches of skinless torso, neck, outside of knees, wrists, complete facial infection.... but i said fuck these dabblers who had no real interest in seeing me healthy again.

tried various apple cider vinegar, baking soda, commercial antibacterial and antifungal etc approaches incl diet changes.... the avc was the breakthru for me..... i gathered it was the 1-2 punch of fruit acid that hammered the yeast / fungi, combined with the direct application of vit C rich fruit juice.....

drink at least one glass of unsweetend lemon juice water as soon as i wake up too now just to be sure.....

about 10 months now, NOT A SINGLE BREAKOUT.

naysayers, don't even bother, 'hear? cuz it WORKS.

and i can love my kitties now too, so that's a happy boon. ...but, i did have a feeling all along that it was the micro filth coming from those furbags.

Re: Any GLPrs feel like they are doomed by seborrheic dermatitis?
i was just talking with my father aa few days ago who had a very similar breakout on his right calf to ankle a week ago.... he said it completely cleared after 'my' humble lemon juice (cheap bottle) & water treatment.... he also used a smidgeon of clotrimazole (antifungal) a few times in add to the lemon juice water....

he said the most interesting thing was that when it was JUST ABOUT TO CLEAR from his right leg, it almost seemed to 'jump' a small patch onto his left foot area.

i told him i noticed that about healing other areas on my own body...... when one area is just about to clear up for good, another patch starts up with a fervor somewhere else....it's bizarre...almost like the yest / fungus patch has some kind of consciousness or collective knowledge that it has to migrate elsewhere or it triggers another area to become susceptible.

i'd incl some kind of safety disclaimer, but really, these are FAR MUCH MORE MILD ingredients that actually KILL the microbe growth that keeps our skin broken and unhealed..... unlike the demonically expensive and rather USELESS corticosteroid prescripts.

screw the med establishment. they let me suffer for 36+ yrs.

that is very good...i try not to ingest too many starches, yeasts, processed sugars....but nothing lifestyle changing.... really the addition of lemon juice water topically and internally is my big health leap! lol... i do eat honey and ginger more now but really, i honestly do not feel any drastic diet, habot changes are necessary for these common skin infirmities.... re: yeasts leaving.. quite possible, see above post re: possible 'jumping' of yeast / fungal colonies.... i'm still learning though btw, so...

definitely do get checked for any underlying complications, allergies, threats though just in case..... lemon juice, water.... maybe some cheap antifungal cream..... it's beneficial for me, but do your research please, OP.

i am sincere though, just want to know somebody else can feel better about themselves and have confidence in correcting such a common problem.... we're basically dealing with dandruff-gone-awry. seriously.

fixin' to give this a try...any of you who sufer from skin maladies notice what factors contribute to flare-ups? I seem to notice that my skin gets real bad when the weather is cold and I'm trying to pin down exactly what it is in my diet that also contributes...I've been eating less and less processed crap but I still let in a pre-packaged food item every now and then...I've got a patch of "contact derm" on my wrist where my watch sits, (mom says i might be allergic to nickel?) and a nasty spot on the ring finger side of my middle finger. doc said it's from exposure to certain oils? I wonder if the spots on my face (seborrhea?) would clear up with this lemon juice treatment. hf

Its from bacterial and fungal overgrowth from our diets containing too many sugars while we are also taking too many antibiotics. The antibiotics leave the super germs alive, which then reproduce abundantly in the now competition free environment. Over time the gut overgrowth leaks into your blood due to biofilm in your intestines where the bacteria lives. The biofilms weaken the intestine wall, which allows the bacteria to start entering into your body. Mine has spread to very pore on my body... Not fun at all. You need to break down the biofilm before you can kill the bacteria & fungus that lives within it, otherwise you are just wasting your time with the treatment. TOPICAL APPLICATIONS GENERALLY ONLY KILL THE SURFACE BACTERIA, SO TO TRULY TREAT IT YOU NEED TO ATTACK FROM THE INSIDE.
1) Make your body uninhabitable to them (raise ph via baking soda, etc.)
2) Break down the biofilms (refer to candida protocols)
3) Take antibacterial/fungal plants & supplements
4) protect yourself from herxheimer by taking vitamin c, psyllium husks, bentonite/zeolite/charcoal, and various other anti-inflammatories & detoxifying agents. Drink lots of water and lemon juice. Bounce on a trampoline to help your lymph system push out the toxins (as motion is the only way that the lymph system can excrete toxins out of your body).
etc.etc. will share more if you want to know. i have many pages of protocols outlined on google drive & just came up with the basic list above off of the top of my head.

Also - take some feel good supplements (magnesium, p5p, mucuna puriens, egcg, tryptophan, tyrosine, choline, etc. while you are detoxifying. I have found that the negative emotions experienced from the herxheimner are so strong that you may become depressed and not continue on with your daily regime (causing repeated relapses). So it is very important to make sure you detox properly as you kill them & protect your mind (& those around you) from emotional trauma by taking the feel-good supplements!

I disagree. Fish oil = thinner oil = less likely to get clogged up pores/skin. At least in my experience. I was very nervous to start taking fish oil (I hate seafood so it's the only way I'll get any fish intake) because I have extremely oily skin, but it did for me what I said... made the oil a healthier form of itself. Didn't cure any skin issues, but improved them.

You sound very knowledgeable. You should create a thread on this kind of stuff. I especially liked the bolded part. I'm one of those who is extremely sensitive to sugary/hi-carb foods. They are extremely inflammatory on my body. For personal reasons, I always have an emotional downward spiral a certain time of the year, and this year I totally went off my diet and went to town on shit. Back came the cystic acne I had gotten rid of, started retaining water like crazy, had a distended stomach, and just felt generally like crap. I'm so jealous of people that can eat what they want with no ill effects, but I'm glad you pointed out that there ARE ill effects, they are just on the inside and it will catch up to everyone eventually, or at least most.

I don't have seborrheic dermatitis, OP, but as I mentioned, I have other inflammatory issues of the skin and GI tract. The only advice I have, OP, is what has already been said. My body hates inflammatory foods. Low-carb/healthy fats is how my body is happiest. That includes fruit and fruit drinks. I'll eat vegetables, but no fruit products when I'm strictly following the low-carb eating. (I indulge in summer fruits when they are out because I love them.) Try searching the Internet for noninflammatory foods if you want ideas. GL and good post.

Another great post.

The part I bolded reminds me of that thread I think Phenn made about toxoplasmosis and how having the virus in you makes you unwillingly want to be around cats or something. LOL Like someone else said, this yeast and shit has a collective unconsciousness that knows it's being attacked and does whatever it can to survive.

Other good supplements are garlic and curcumin.

Re: Any GLPrs feel like they are doomed by seborrheic dermatitis?
I suffered from seborrheic dermatitis for over 10 years and I have finally cured myself of it.

It started years ago with my ears, I got a crusty and leaky ear infection with my ears that never wanted to go away.

Then it spread from my ears up to my scalp. Around the back of my scalp I had spots of seb derm that always flaked off dead skin.

As it got worse it start to get more at the front of my scalp and the top and sometimes when it would flare up I could notice it on my face near my eyes or eyelid.

After a few years my ears didnt bother me anymore but my scalp was where most of the seb derm was living.

I tried putting many creams on the sores on my scalp to make them heal and the skin would heal but then it would always return the next week.

Because the creams never solved the problem that was deep in the skin it only allowed the skin to heal a bit faster.

They are like red scaly patches on the scalp, kind of rounded in shape and random on the skin. They scab over with dry flaking skin and I formed a bat habbit of picking at them.

After years of putting up with them and picking at the sores on my scalp I got really sick of them when I was on a health kick and lost some weight.

I wanted to try something different to get rid of them for good. And I had read alot about how Cancer is a Fungus and about the Zymotic Theory of Disease and I decided to give it a try and see if it was all bullshit or if it would help.

So what that means is I started to treat the seborrheic dermatitis like it was a Fungus.

And I started to use Baking Soda or Sodium Bicarbonate as an Antifungal to kill the Fungus.

Alot of people told me that they didnt know what seborrheic dermatitis was. And when I mention that it was a Fungus I was Ridiculed.

But I also found alot of research on the internet that talk about the malassezia yeast being the cause of the seb derm.

Yeasts are Fungus which alot of people seem to be overlooking and are being very ignorant about.

So went with the idea that it was a Fungus and that the Zymotic Theory of Disease says that you can kill fungus by changing the PH of the Environment to one that is more Alkaline.

And that is exactly what Baking Soda does. Its very Alkaline and it raises the PH of the Environment and makes it so the fungus cant live. They die and your body can repair the damage.

I started by taking a shower and washing my hair with Baking Soda and leaving it in for a few hours. Then rinsing.

Then I started to sprinkle the baking soda on my head an leave it on contact with my scalp.

The sores started to feel warm and flush and they were stinging a little bit. But I thought to myself that it was a sign that it was doing something so I kept at it for about 3 days.

On the 3 day is when I saw real progress.

One of the really bad spots of Seb Derm on the very top of my scalp Died.

It was a rounded raised like sore always pink and flaking dead skin and the Baking Soda killed the Colony of Fungus that was causing it. When I showed I could feel that it had scabbed over and the scab peeled off and it left a hole in my scalp where the seb derm was. There was a Divet in my scalp at the exact spot of the seb derm sore.

After a few days it healed up totally and today its perfectly normal skin. Not a trace of seb derm. If felt sooo good to stick my finger in that little hole in my scalp and feel the spot where the seb derm was, I had Finally killed it !

But it was just 1 of many spots on my scalp that I had to remove with the Baking soda.

And each one happened the same way. I put baking soda all over my scalp for a few days and it would make the sores on my scalp swell up a bit and the baking soda would almost stick to them.

Sometimes at night it would sting and it woke me up a few times when I slept with Baking Soda on my scalp but I knew it was working.

It didnt kill all the spots all at once, It took them out one after another.

I would keep putting the baking soda on my scalp and then one of the sores would die like the first one and leave a divet in my scalp and then heal over.

I just kept putting the baking soda on my scalp until all the seb derm was destroyed.

Some of the spots started to bleed after having the baking soda on there for a long time and the blood was a good sign because usually right after I saw the blood on my scalp soaking through the baking soda I knew it meant that one of the bad spots had died off.

These little round spots that left holes in my scalp were colonies of fungus.

It seemed like the infection was spreading outward from these locations.

The baking soda just totally eradicated them.

I had one sore on my neck way in the back near my hairline that was creeping down my neck.

I had to put coconut oil on it and sprinkle the baking soda on my neck and the oil would help it to adhere to the spot on my neck. That spot took a really long time to get rid of. It was really deep in my neck and I had to re apply the baking soda a few times.

I would do it for like a week at a time putting the baking soda on the spot on my neck and it would eventally start to bleed and then I would let it heal for a week or so, It was like it was drawing the infection out from deeper in my neck because each time it killed a part of it and it seemed to come closer to the surface of the skin.

Some of the ones on my scalp felt really deep too and it took a few applications of the baking soda before it killed the fungal colonies off.

It was like chemical warfare and I was dusting my scalp with the baking soda in a battle to defeat the seb derm.

All I can say now is that I have sweet relief.

And if any of you are out there suffering, the answer is Baking Soda, I only used a half a box to totally cure myself.
