So, finally I got a shirt on and went to the back of the house to see if everything was secure and if I could see anyone out back. Then, I went to the front, took off the "SAFETY" and walked around outside very carefully ready to fight for my life or property. I figured they could have weapons or more than one person or a lot of weapons, but I couldn't just stay in the house and do nothing either. We have had break-ins here so I have been expecting and it is just a matter of time before I get ONE Shot, ONE KILL.

Quoting: Winningjob duuuuude, that's heavy. i had a 2 -person team take down my oak door and frame, nearly killed my cats when the door came flying inwards, but they came up as commanded like furry little flashes thank God. with my former mil years, i got a set of lungs and that alone THANK GOD was enough to send these guys running. i leapt & gave chase down 2 sets of 12 steps (unarmed then) as soon as i knew my cats were fine, but the driveway, backyard.... the -street- was dead silent.... no wet footprints, no steps in the slush, nuthin...weirdest day of my life...... esp after a random phonecall with 'latin' like mumbling the night b4 that woke me and my wife.... me, from a very explicit dream where i had caught the scum beat him half to death with a steel bar we had there (served as a makeshift doorstop (!lol) for weeks after, til my then-wife calmed) and bound him with coathanger wire to a tree on his knees and carved into his forehead "THIEF" with my fave folder.. still weirds me out.
