I have heard of this happening. In my former life as a flight attendant, I would have overnights in Glenwood Springs, CO. We had been staying at the Hotel Colorado. It was a gorgeous historic hotel. I don't doubt you at all. I have experienced other worldly things in my 32 years of life, I know there is a positive and negative force out there for fact. How can I say “fact”, because many of the things were witnessed by others that were with me at the time.

That being said. I don't know and neither does anyone else know your experience to be real without good minute by minute detail. This may sound gross but I'm serious. Did you wake up during this assault or did you just jump in bed to go to sleep then it started before you even fell asleep.

I was born and raised a Jehovah Witness. I stopped going when I was 18. I have experienced sleep paralysis many, many times. The first two times were when I was 15 and 16. They were the worst because I totally thought it was the demons. I could feel hands, being groped and being ice cold. I could hardly move and barely breath. A great pressure! Like I was being attacked. A terrible dread (10x worse than that weird feeling of something is behind you in the dark and you get the heeby-geebies). I thought I was going to die because I couldn't breath.

The second time when I was 16, it almost convinced me that it was demons, because I was actually barely able to say the name Jehovah out loud after struggling for so long. Instantly it was gone. I thought “that proves it then!”.

I told this story to some work mates. They immediately said “sleep paralysis”. I researched it, then was like damn, this happens to millions of people. And people can actually have out-of-body experiences and this can be a part of it. WOW!!! I thought.

So this happened to me about 3 more times in my life. I was able to leave my body twice with the techniques I learned on the net.
