I was raped by a Ghost last night!

A young, female relative of mine came to visit during summer break (she still attended school).
We were living in a house with a finished basement. It was really pretty, not gloomy or scary in any way, but light and nicely decorated.
Anyway, she wanted to sleep in the basement. The first night she tried to..she woke up crying and ran upstairs to the rest of the family, claiming that something tried to have intercourse with her. She said she could feel it although she couldn't see anything..and she claims she wasn't dreaming.
We never had any ghostly experiences the whole time we lived there. However I made sure NEVER to sleep in the basement!
My brother just laughed it off and decided to trade his room to moved down there and use it as an apartment. He said if anything tried any funny business with him...'he wouldn't complain!'
I was glad when we sold the place.

That's such a scary story...that's how I felt last night, except I felt it having intercourse with me...and I COULDN'T GET AWAY!

I feel so gross and disgusting, I can't stand it...I'm crying as I type this.

A little background first:

I'm a single female, early 30s, divorced, and live alone in a 103 yr old cottage. I've always suspected this property to be haunted. Now I'm convinced!

I feel so violated and gross right now. I woke up in the middle of the night..about 1:30 or so, to the feeling of being held down by someone very strong. (No, I wasn't drunk, I don't do drugs.) The entity proceeded to violate/molest me for almost 20 minutes!

I feel so nasty now! When it was over, I was in shock and ran outside in my nighgown in the freezing cold, and spent the rest of the night in my car. I don't know what to do. I'm scared to go to sleep and I have to work tomorrow. I can't afford a hotel. I'll probably sleep in my car again.

Something doesnt sound/feel right about this story, Im not doubting you in the slightest.. I believe what you the feelings you feel and what you feel happened was very real.. Im just wondering if your mind is covering something up or is expressing feelings of a past experience. This sounds like ptsd to me. Love to you.. please reach out and talk to someone.

OP, do you have any friends that will stay with you for a few nights until you have the chance to get help? A friend that is stable and practical would be better than a flighty type friend.

I know that it must be very terrifying but try to keep your wits about you. These types of spirits get strength from your fear. Try to be strong and say out loud "This will not happen again. Leave!" or other such things. Get mad. Try not to show fear.

Most importantly, get help as soon as possible.

thank you for that. I am telling the truth. i was diagnosed with depression about 12 years ago, that's the only medical problem I've ever had. I'm not crazy, even though my mom and sister think I am.

my house is just a one bedroom 750 sq. foot cottage with a small garage. I rent it from an old couple for really cheap, and they really like me, because i take care of it so good and make the yards look so nice. I really can't afford to lose this place and move.
