I haven't used regular antiperspirant for a few years now.

The only thing I use is virgin coconut oil.

I swear by this stuff! It really works and it makes my armpits soft and smooth too. hf

I even tried it on my mom and she's a big fat lady and you know that fat people usually sweat more and smell bad.

It even worked for her. No B.O. when she uses coconut oil.

Heck, I'm going to try that. Heard that that type of fat is antibacterial. I'm currently useing a iodine solution, works for about a day and a half.

people are brainwashed into believing mass market deodorants and antiperspirant are essential to hygiene
start reading the labels
if you want your body to absorb that toxic crap go ahead and use it

yea, but how do you keep yourself from STINKING!? What deodorant do you use???
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 835724

use Lavilin, it works great and you only have to apply it about once every 10 days.

I use "Tom's" brand natural deoderant. All natural ingredients, no chemicals, works good and my armpits feel CLEAN when I use it. When I used a big name brand deoderant it didn't feel very healthy. There are many organic/natural deoderants out there, give them a try and support organic products.

Re: Anyone here having weird allergic reactions with aluminum deodorants (Right Guard, Axe, Degree, etc.)???
hello...
i have been using the original right guard for well over 20 years and then dial added a few new types of right guard to their line, which of course, the local stores can't wait to sell. well, i tried the Extreme, clear gel anti/deod. it took about 3 days for me to realize that my armpits were not itching due to a fresh shave and that my nipples were now itching terribly bad. i stopped using Extreme and the itching started to go away. still not able to find the original right guard, i tried the 3-D clear gel, same thing happened. i wrote to dail explaining my allergic reaction to their new types of product. not sure if it is the new chemicals in the product or my body changing, but it looks like i am now in the market for something new. i will try oh-natural as several of you have posted. thanks for sharing your itchy experiences....happy new year !!!

Re: Anyone here having weird allergic reactions with aluminum deodorants (Right Guard, Axe, Degree, etc.)???
Most deodorants out there can cause several discomforts and add harmful chemicals to your body adjacent to one of the biggest lymph nodes you have. Applying these chemicals directly to your armpit invites them into your entire system. This also plugs up one of the main exits for toxins your body has. my best answer for this is a deodorant by In love. They use salts to absorb the sweat and react with the organic acids to remove the odor. All the ingredients in this deodorant are not only harmless but extremely good for you. 5a

Re: Anyone here having weird allergic reactions with aluminum deodorants (Right Guard, Axe, Degree, etc.)???
NEVER, EVER use deodorant with aluminum in it. Use Tom's of Maine or something from a health food store with as few chemicals as possible.

In fact, ALL the shampoos, soaps, creams, lotions, shaving creams, deodorants, and toothpastes from all major stores purposely have have cancer causing sodium laurel sulfate and about 20 other crap chemicals in them. This is to sicken the public on purpose. Don't use or buy them. Use at your peril. I heard a new report recently saying that the NWO scumbags are also purposely poisoning ALL baby food now to slow kill your children.

I haven't used anti-perspirant or deodorant for around a week and I don't smell at all.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 835690

Get a second opinion.

I'm a female and I dont' stink, except that time of the month when my stress hormones hit the roof. Then I have to wash my armpits like four or five times with soap and still stink after a few hours even with deoderant.

It's annoying.

totally don't use antiperspirant
you need to sweat
better not to shave underarms either

re: breast cancer, I not only suspect antiperspirants, but years ago after I had children someone told me NOT TO WEAR UNDERWIRES they break down the tissue. Sure enough, sports bras saved the day and your boobs remember how to hold themselves up, well, sort of.

As a few other people have suggested, alkalizing the body is the way to go. I did it. Now there is no need for deodorants at all.

I find the ones that call themselves deodorant are usually OK... it's the anti-persperants that are the issue. I quit using them years ago.

it's aluminum, the shit clogs your particles preventing necessary re-movement of toxins, especially the aluminum itself. if you are looking for natural there are a lot of diff kind you can purchase; however, i find that old spice is next to the best thing of being natural, in just that it has no aluminum... smells great too :)

Re: Anyone here having weird allergic reactions with aluminum deodorants (Right Guard, Axe, Degree, etc.)???
I found out that I am allergic to Aluminum, and it started to cause a horrid rash on my arm pits. Now, Im not saying that these festering bumps appeared over night, I always had one or two but I figured it was a razor rash or something. But nooo, It was my deodorant/ anti-perspirant which contained aluminum.
Anyways, My doctor suggested the brand Arm and Hammer, it contains all natural ingredients and so far it has not broken me out. (Used along with the prescriptions she gave me)
Hope this helps!
