Anonymous Coward User ID: 32634038 Slovakia 01/20/2013 01:40 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Asperger's syndrome is an attempt by Dr. Hans Asperger to worm his way into the history books by labelling people who are simply assholes with a fake mental illness. There is absolutally no evidence whatsoever that it actually exists. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 587855 Asperger-monsters are the most self-centered, selfish pieces of shit on the planet. Devoid of empathy, social reasoning, social context, or self awareness, they are subhuman meat-calculators, who live to collect and catalogue items like barcodes and bottletops. Such losers believe that having Asperger's Syndrome excuses all forms of social retardation, attention whoring and shitty self-absorbed bullshit, while also allowing them to lay claim to its supposed symptom of "higher than average levels of intelligence". For these reasons, Asperger's has greatly outstripped ADHD as the chic diagnosis of choice for pretty much every group of fucktards on the internet. It is no wonder then that all people with Assburgers are fugly. [link to encyclopediadramatica.com] |

It's almost like making a joke of it. It's odd. Quoting: Zuzu's Petals In any case, many people wouldn't even know that someone has Asperger's. As someone said, it is a VERY vague spectrum. My God, you don't like to make eye contact with people? You must have Asperger's! You like "me" time a lot more than time with others? You must have Asperger's! You're shy? You must have Asperger's! You talk obsessively about a particular because you...like it? You must have Asperger's. A kid cries because he doesn't get his way, and has never heard the word no before? He must have Asperger's. A lot of what they use to diagnose Asperger's is absolutely ridiculous. I have Asperger's and I can guarantee you that it's very real. I know what it's like. Same here. |

It's so obvious they can't help being callous. And they're ALWAYS right so they don't see any other side of a situation than their own. They absolutely don't see that anyone else has feelings. It's soul destroying. It kills partners and wrecks families. An aspie family member couldn't go to his grandma's funeral because 'he was too busy preparing for the F1 racing season'. Fcuking cars and engines particularly were FAR more important to him than a loving grandma who'd brought him up because his aspie mother couldn't cope with him. OP, either you're deliberately trolling to upset and annoy people - or you're utterly clueless. In the latter case, I reiterate: try living with someone with Aspergers. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 824929 comparing aspergers to autism is like ....well....dont obsess over it..................... Thanks OP. I'll expect you at my home at 3AM to tell my five year old she has nothing wrong, when she wakes up in the middle of the night screaming because she has lost touch of where arms and legs are....(sensory processing disorder that is part of Asperger's). You can tell her that when she wakes up in the morning and is not processing visually and the world looks like broken glass has been strewn everywhere with light reflecting from every shard. Also, OP, have a great time explaining that to my child....because like most children with Asperger's, her IQ is probably triple that of yours. Hope you can outsmart her to help her see that nothing is wrong with her. Have a nice day OP. |

Nadine User ID: 32945161 Uruguay 01/24/2013 03:03 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Well according to the new DSMV you're either autistic or not. It's a bunch of signs and symptoms somebody put together. Does it work to help some children, teens and adults or not? I think it goes down to this. And since you look "normal", shouting, don't shoot, I'm an aspie doesn't work, you need to stand up to the challenges of the real world. But some things like aspies reporting very frequent unusual reactions to medications that affect the brain, may somehow point to it being true that their brains are wired differently. Same with motor clumsiness and sensory problems. The difference with schizoids? Asperger people want to make friends and like other people's company, they seek it. They don't withdraw out of lack of interest in other people. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 32558815 United States 01/24/2013 03:41 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Anyone who has this can feel better by thinking about it like this: Find whatever it is you "geek on," take it and run with that. Use the "disease" to your advantage. There is always a way to do that. If you have a child with it, use his or her special talent or obsession as a platform for their education and development. For example, a boy loves, eats, thinks, and breathes Star Trek, knows everything about it, but seems to have a block against doing math problems, can be encouraged to work out math problems using Star Trek: "The USS Enteprise is on a mission to Epsilon Omega to rendezvous with the starship Unifikatum. If the Enterprise travels 3.4 parsecs per hour at Warp Factor 2, and the Unifikatum is 53 parsecs away, how many hours will it take the ship to complete the journey?" Of course, you could be like the OP might, and try to block all thoughts and references to Star Trek from the kid's life, since Asperger's is all bullshit and doesn't exist. Not forgetting to mention that OP might HATE Star Trek. Good luck with that, fucko. How about some nice SSRI's for that imaginary disease? One day everyone may wake up to find that people who have Aspergers are the normal ones, and that everyone who doesn't is fucked in the head, mentally deficient and needs to be put in a FEMA camp for their own safety. |
