Eminem: Bigger than the Beatles - Eminem is artist of the decade with 32.2 Million Albums Sold - FAWK YEAH!

John, Paul, George, Ringo and Eminem. It's an unlikely group indeed until you tally up overall record sales for the decade as the end-of-the-aughts countdown continues.

With more than 32.2 million albums sold since 2000, Eminem -- on this list -- is bigger than the second-place Beatles, who sold 30 million albums over the past 10 years, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

The data were tallied through Nov. 1, and figures could rise through Dec. 31, particularly with Eminem's "Relapse: Refill" being delivered Dec. 21

Looking at some of the decade's top individual best-selling albums: The Beatles' hits compilation "1" took the pole position with 11.5 million albums sold. That barely beat boy-band 'N Sync's "No Strings Attached," which moved 11.1 million units.

Em, whose debut "The Slim Shady LP" was released in 1999 (and has sold more than 5.2 million copies), has two albums in the decade's Top 10: 2000's "The Marshall Mathers LP" at No. 4 (selling 10.2 million copies) and 2002's "The Eminem Show" at No. 5 (moving 9.8 million units). Eminem also has two other multiplatinum D12 full-length albums that didn't count in the final tallies.
