Viacom and Clear Channel only play music designed to entrance listeners into a receptive state where they can be programmed subliminally
The thing about almost ALL music that is pumped through the mainstream "music industry" is that it's recycled garbage based off of algorithms developed specially to sell simple music to stupid people.

Haven't you figured out that this is one of the simplest, most effective forms of mind control?

The problem is that people who get infected by the "recycled pop" virus don't know they're infected. They think they've chosen their musical preference out of their own free will, but nothing could be further from the truth.

Opposed to being refined connoisseurs of music, these people are lulled into a state of apathetic hypnosis where they became INCAPABLE of appreciating music that isn't in a 4/4 time signature or that doesn't have a simple 3 or 4 bar chord progression.

No big deal, right?

Wrong.

Repeated exposure to this algorithmic music opens certain pathways in your brain while closing others, creating a "feedback loop" where the individual is incapable of appreciation of any other type of music that DOESN'T use these algorithms. The more they listen, the worse it gets, the more they want to listen, ad infinitum.

After developing this disposition, it can't be cured without concentrated effort. If the individual lacks the discipline to put forth the effort, they will never recover (save an act of God).

The implications go further than musical preference.

The same synthetic "feedback loop" created in your brain is then utilized by OTHER mediums to covertly and overtly upload propaganda directly into your brain.

All that has to be done is slip a few key melodies into a commercial, tv show, movie, internet advertisement, etc., present the information they want to program the individual with (usually both openly and subliminally), and voila! The brain's disposition to internalize shitty music ingrains the information in your memory, whether you want it or not.

This also paves the way for the same kind of programming to occur VISUALLY with COLOUR. Whether you believe it or not, each musical note has a corresponding colour and texture. It's basic Golden Mean mathematics. I am NOT talking about synesthesia. I'm talking about the vibrational resonances of the colour and sound.

Ever wonder why you get hungry when you see yellow and red together? It's no coincidence.

So the next time you think about turning on the radio or kicking back and watching MTV in hi-def... Just remember what you're doing to yourself.

So even if you're a passive music listener who just puts the radio on for company, don't try to convince ANYONE you're a fan of music, or a good judge of music, or claim there's "no good music these days", or pretend like your musical preferences mean anything more than dollar signs for people that fucked you over with technology you didn't understand....

...because you lack the discernment to identify REAL music when you hear it.

And it IS out there, if you would only put forth the effort to find it.

The storm is closing in to begin again from the beginning. Never sitting through my waking life oblivious. The ignorance running rampant through the city is indicative of something worse; this picture isn't pretty.

I don't listen to any music anymore except OLD country when I'm driving in the car. I noticed years ago (late nineties?) that all music was starting to sound the same. It didn't matter if it was rock, pop, country, etc. It all sounded the same to me. I guess this is why. How funny...

Well so if this is true than, would not the opposite be true? I mean there is music that can expand your mind? Such as Mozart, we ofter hear about positive effects from his music, of course at this point I can barely stand him LOL. maybe because I mostly listen to repetitive rap/electronic machine based music.

Most real music DOES expand your mind.

There's a lot of electronic music out there that is completely genius. Some of the most rhythmically complex, original music I've ever heard was sequenced and produced using computers. There is extremely progressive Hip-hop, turntablism, breakbeats, dubstep, and electronica out there if you're willing to look in the right places.

And before anyone jumps on my back thinking it's ironic I mention hip-hop as good music, bear in mind I'm a multi-talented musician - guitar being the instrument at which I'm most proficient at playing, having had 12 years experience.

If you doubt electronic music can be good, just check out this guy:
