What is the weirdest thing you've ever seen?

Myself and two of my friends saw a ghost one night walking home from the dorms. It scared the hell out of us at the time but the more I think of it the more I like it. It was a nice peacefull old man walking into a funeral home. He smiled at us and walked towards the door. We were 3 steps behind him but when we got to the door he was gone. Doors were locked up and there was no way he could have gotten to the door nevermind get in . It changed the way I feel about death. I am no longer afraid

New Orleans LA, on the edge of the Magnolia Housing Project.

My neighbor awoke one morning to find that his cat had escaped during the night. As any normal person would do, he went outside and started to yell the cat's name.

It was a black cat, who had been named "Ya heard me" by his girlfriend. Unbeknowst to him, the phrase "Ya heard me" is slang in the local project dialect for "I've just scored lot's of crack rocks, come and get them before they're gone".

Within five minutes, the front of the house was inundated with a wide variety of crackheads, who, after finding out that no crack was available, became angry crackheads.

To make a long story short, this man was a high level black-belt in some form of martial arts, this I could tell from the first four sorry souls who attempted to scale the wrought iron fence in front of the house, after becoming impaled, the rest of the group scattered like a mass of night parting before the dawn.

My help was required however, in "unsticking" the four still hanging from the fence. They left spouting curses, but no charges were filed.

I was going to come on here and tell you how my brother, mother and I all saw a huge triangle fly over us, silent...with three lights at each point.
But....everyones been saying that...kinda freaky....ok...my next strangest thing I ever saw.....A dog FROZEN while he was shitting....in mid squat....no shit (ha)

A strobe light in the sky about 2 am one night. It would flash a long complicated pattern (too fast for me to count), then disappear for a couple of seconds and reappear some distance away. It wasn't falling, it was going sideways in everywhich direction, sometimes even upwards. Pretty, but very odd. No colored lights and moved VERY quickly.

A Shadow, day-after ghost. My fiancee. Don't want to see another ! But at the time, it was oddly comforting and terrifying all at once.

As a child I woke up at my grandmothers house....she had a cast iron wood stove. A very large black cat was sitting on top of it. She had no cat, and the stove was hot enough to boil water. She died within a couple of days.

Also as a child, I saw the "television snow" man in my house. I can't really explain it except to say it was a figure made of colors that looked like the snow on a television set with no channel. I later found out my nephew saw it too one time. Neither one of us were scared of it at all.

Driving home one night in Nebraska, northbound, roughly 45 miles south of Omaha. Tracked what I believed to be an aircraft in a holding pattern. Object disappeared and reappeared in a cloud bank in two fixed locations that did not change. As I turned to head eastbound, The light exited the cloud bank and began an east track. The object was now clearly visible, roughly the size of Venus, and I estimate my distance to be 30-50 miles. I estimate the speed of the object to be a few hundred knots. Object then made a right angle turn towards the sky and accelerated at speeds that no aircraft I am aware of is capable of. Object disappeared in less than one second.

Riding in Car with Devil. He was able to drive a flat black muscle car with blood red baseball stitch leather interior (hockin motor) in areas that tricked out Four by's would have some problems with...Then less than 12 hrs. later, the encounter with the Beings began...That lasted 3 days. And NO it was not a trip.

I, with 2 friends, was in an area with many trees. Some type of aircraft slowly moved over the entire area and could be see in the opening in the trees. It had static lights and the thing was at least 300 ft wide and right over the top of the trees. It made no noise. We left as quickly as possible.

When the WX conditions were just right we would gather on the abandoned USAF runway that was equi-distant between the LORAN XMTR tower (425KW @ 100KHZ) and the abandoned DEW radar station on the nearby mountain.

What happened was the sound like a loud mosquito wavering left-to-right-left continually, coming out from the DEW station and "landing" within feet of us, getting louder as "it" approached. The wavering sound would waver shorter and shorter until it was a near steady tone as it "landed".

It would be soft off in the distance then get louder as "it" approached and be quite loud when "it" landed.

There was never anything visual but the sound was coming from a very specific 3D place in the air. About a dozen of us would verify "its" exact location of where it "struck" each and every time.

This would last for about 30 minutes and the WX had to be thick fog and no wind.

We think it was a harmonic frequency of the 100KHZ XMTR bouncing off the metal of the old DEW station just right when the air was conductive with moisture.

We used to laugh at "how close that one came" and always wondered if "one" ever hit any of us what would happen. It was really quite loud.

Was driving home late one night in 1995 from a nightclub...not drunk..don't drink. About 2am on 495 south just north of D.C...sparse traffic...all of a sudden what looked like a kid suddenly ran across the highway in front of my car! I instantly applied the brakes and swerved to avoid...when I looked back, NO ONE was there!! Bothered me to the point where I looked up accidents on 495 and found out a kid WAS hit by a passing car crossing the highway, in that VERY SPOT a YEAR prior ! Weird Shit....!! True story.

Lantern lane is a place/road near my hometown, mysterious lights have been seen there since the 30s’. The story is that over a 100 years ago a couple lost their lives in a blizzard one winter. The wife had gone outside to milk their cow, when she didn’t return he set off looking for her and both were lost in the blizzard. – Supposedly the light is his lantern as he wanders eternity searching for her. –

Over Many years many reports of cars being chased and chasing the light at over 100 mph and not being able to catch it. Also some witnesses claimed the light passed through their vehicle while being chased or chasing the light..My dad went there when he was a kid,(he said he saw and chased the light, back in the 50's) I went myself one night in the mid 70's, we did see a strange light at one point but it didn’t chase us or do anything weird and we didn’t see anything else unusual...but other classmates of mine said they had seen and been chased by it and had chased the light and been unable to catch up with it..also said the light passed through their vehicle..

The 2 story farm house where the incident occurred still stands. (it appeared abandoned, broken windows, no paint, yard was all grown up, no vehicles or any signs of life for as long as I or anyone had known)

A couple years after my trip to the lane, some younger friends of mine went there one night (without me), and went in the house. Suddenly a man came down the stairs and shot my buddy with a 12 gauge. The 3 other kids with him ran screaming out of the place. The guy came out on the porch and ordered them all off his property, he wouldn’t allow them to take the kid he had shot who ended up bleeding out before help could arrive.

The guy who shot him was the former owner of the place, and he had recently been released from a mental facility where he had been locked up for the last 20 years,- for murder!

(lots of folks had gone out there over the years, you know take the girls out to lantern lane and try to scare them, etc.) people had gone into the abandoned house before and partied drinking whatever, and maybe got minorly disorderly/destructive, breaking windows and tearing up the place.

When the nutcase got out he went back to his former home and found it in shambles, he was pissed. My friends happened along at just the ‘wrong’ moment, so he took out his vengeance. – Not sure if they locked him back up or not, I don’t think they did. He was within the law to shoot trespassers who were inside his home.(except I don't think it was actually his property at that point)

Still …too strange for words…

In 1969, on the way to evening class, my friends and I saw a bright light coming our way, really high up. As it almost got above our heads, it split into hundreds of pieces of bright lights in a triangular formation. Next day, the news said it was a Russian Satellite breaking up entering Earth's atmosphere. We thought we were being invaded by saucers.

This was just bizarre...

Me and a friend driving in the early hours of the morning. We approached a roundabout and there was a loony standing on the island with just boxer shorts on and two cigarettes sticking out of his nose making funny faces at us.
We circled a few times checking our eyes out.

UFO I never seen...

When I was kid there was a low dense fog during the summer. It was pretty late and I was outside showing off in front of a girl. I was smashing a tennis ball into the air and it was disappearing into the fog above me. Anyway after 5- 10 minutes I hit it again and this time it didn't come back down. I remember staring into the fog wondering where my ball was.

The girl I was trying to show off too was sitting in a veranda and let out a scram and ran inside. My ball came back down 3-4 minutes later(I kid you not). Her aunt knocked on the door sometime later I told my parents that the girl had seen multiple coloured lights in the fog.

Maybe my first and only encounter with a UFO...I think its weird, maybe you had to be there :p
