Was driving along the highway at dusk, when suddenly my headlights lit up a "half-crushed" racoon in the middle of the road, trying to get up ! I guess some motorist had recently ran him over...The look of horror in his eyes is unforgettable. Did I hit him no. I swerved, but I think the car behind me took him out.
