Caller Says 'I'm dead serious': San Antonio couple calls 911 after 'Bigfoot' sighting

I posted this once before a couple of years ago. About 30 years ago my brother was out hunting for his annual deer in the northern mountains of Idaho, and heard this horrible screeching and yowling coming his way. His Blue Tic Hound put is tail between his legs and took off back down the mountain. My brother was not far behind, running all the way back down the mountain to his truck with the dog. He took off as fast as he could. He told me this story many years later and said that he had never been so scared in his life. Needless to say he never went out hunting the rest of that fall and never got his deer for that year.

My boyfriend saw one of those things in the ohio river during twilight while out hunting with his buddies. The thing screeched and they all ran to the truck, leaving their hunting supplies behind.

The couple has now disappeared.

This is my experience.

OBSERVED: I was bow hunting and had parked myself between two deer trails, each running along side a clear cut. I was dead center with 25 yards between me and each trail. I faced west into the wind at about dusk. There was usually a lot of deer in the area but on that evening it seemed very quiet. Just as it became too dark to see my aiming sights, I heard crunching foot steps coming from directly behind me. At the time I thought it might be a buck in rut. The animal seemed to be following my sent directly to where I was hidden in some blackberry bushes. A cover scent had been applied to my clothes and boots using pine needles that were blended with water. My clothes were soaked in the solution and dried -- very effective ... for deer anyway.

This animal walked right up to the clearing behind me. I had plenty of time to turn around to situate myself for a clear shot. I raised my bow and it came into view 25 yards away and stopped. It seemed know exactly where I was sitting. We were staring at each other from a distance of about 75 feet for about a full minute. The bigfoot slowly swayed back and forth a few inches from side to side. I estimated it to be about 7 1/2 ' tall and maybe 600lbs+ . I never pulled back on the bow and the bigfoot eventually just turned around and walked in the same direction it came from.

Because of the thick leaves on the ground no tracks where found the next day when I returned to look around. This animal was black in color and its shoulders were approx. 4 feet wide.

Since this incident happened I've brought up this subject with many people in this area and I am suprised at how many have had, or know someone who has had, experiences in this County.

I live in bigfoot county, there have been more sightings here than anywhere in the world. People almost worship bigfoot, its creepy. Statues all over town, paintings of him on the walls and half the stores names start or end with bigfoot.
The 2 local tribes have prayers and annual offerings to the bigfoot spirits. There is a bigfoot festival too.
Every year scientists from around the world show up in the spring to start their bigfoot hunt. Its sometimes feels silly but then when you go out in the forest here and suddenly feel so small.

Then you hear a mountain lion scream nearby.....
A deer runs by in the woods panicked.....
The birds and insects fall silent......
Your dog runs away.......
The Sun is going down and the fog is creeping in......


That sound familiar to anyone?

my dad told me how he was driving I-90 out west in the bad lands of South Dakota through a horrible blizzard in his semi. He said it was really bad and not another car was out. He was afraid he would get stuck there. He went real slow because there was glaze ice and blowing snow with almost zero visibility.

He saw what he thought was a man standing along the side of the road a little ways ahead and slowed down even more to stop and rescue him from the storm. As he approached, he realized the man was real tall, muscular, hairy, and scary and merely slowed to get a look at him before stopping.

Anyway, the man didn't seem shorter as he should have and as he tried to stop he drove by a few feet from him and he was level with the head of this creature and was able to look it in the eyes a few feet away. When he realized it was a Sasquatch and he kept going and did not stop.

I could tell it gave him the willies the rest of his life whenever he thought of the face of that creature and it's wild eyes.

I told my own story on another forum last night and doubt I was believed. I don't lie about the things I tell and it's not easy to tell my tales. It's not easy to telk about these things and it's only harder when greeted by sarcastic comments.
So I'll leave this where it is.

I believe you ... or certainly believe that it could have happened.
I've heard too many similar stories to doubt that these creatures exist.
