when you hear of places like Florida, and Texas shivering their bollocks off, it don't bode well.

Maybe a good year for the Elfstedentocht. I really enjoyed Holland back in the '80's..

I woke up this morning looked out of my window and I can only describe what I saw as wonderful, staggering beauty, so I put on my woolly hat, warm coat, grabbed my camera and the dog, these are the results!

Well this is the third week of subzero temp and snow here, that's practically unheard of recently

Hi Gazbom---- I have never been to Holland- my mother was born there and her family. Wish I was rich and could travel, Holland would be one place where I would visit. I have a question: Someone a while back sent me beautiful photo's of Orange Festival in Holland. I don't understand how the climate in Holland would let orange trees live and produce.
