Anonymous Coward User ID: 488240 United States 01/04/2010 02:21 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | it is not disrespectful, it is genetic programming, blame God not your husband and as long as his eyes are doing the roving, and not some other part, you are fine. If he comes home to you, he should be allowed to look at whatever he wants in the meantime. He will anyway, just let him do what he will already do without your permission. There is nothing else you can do beside ignore it. I recommend specifically telling him it's fine. |

Jimmy2times User ID: 493309 United States 01/04/2010 02:23 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I have been married a long time and I take great care of my appearance. I am slim, have a great shape, and always like to look good for myself and my man. My issue is this, whenever we are out in public together my husband has a roving eye. He is always checking out other women to the point where its obnoxious. His head will swing around and he will stare blatently. I find this extremely disrespectful! I certainly don't act this way in public. I understand that men like to check out pretty women, but for God's sake be discreet! I've called him out on this behavior before, but he always reverts back to the same practice. It makes me feel very unappreciated and disrespected and I'm losing my patience with it. It's gotten so bad that I dread going anywhere in public with him. Any advice? Quoting: Hot Mama 833668for God's sake be discreet! Translation - Lie to me... Men look, Women get looked at.. We all have our little problems that others have to deal with.. If he ain't cheating then why worry? Or you could smack him everytime he does and eventually he'll associate looking with pain and maybe he'll stop. |

Hot Mama (OP) User ID: 833668 United States 01/04/2010 02:29 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Yes, he does play golf, but he's not Tiger. As far as I know, he's never cheated on me. I've always been very available to him sexually, never holding out or punishing him by withholding it. It just brings me down that he can be so blatently disrespectful, especially when I've told him how much it hurts my feelings. I guess the novelty of me has worn off. Just hurts is all. My advice to any guys reading this out there. Give your attention to the woman your with. It will make her feel really special and she in turn with make you feel special too. I give my husband all of my attention and it hurts to not get back a small percentage of what I put in. |

It helps garner sympathy.. How about this then, everytime she catches him doing it, she kisses him on the mouth, if he's doing it that often then there should be a lot more smooching and kisses are great for relationships. |

You have little respect for their feelings 2. Looking for someone else 3. You're basically an asshole. 1. Not true - opinion 2. Again Opinion 3. Everybody is an asshole to someone - EVERYBODY. Maybe, just MAYBE he looks at other women because he feels insecure with her. Maybe he does it to feel good about himself. Maybe he has homosexual tendancies and he's not really looking at the women but actually looking at the men they are with and sometimes he looks at women to throw her off... One thing is for sure, they have a communication problem, even if she feels she doesn't and he does, THEY DO. If she's talked to him about it, and he acknowledges that he does it, and still does it anyway.. What are HER choices? Change him, or change her?? |
