First of all, you DIDN'T cut him out of your life, you only tried to hide from him. From his POV, he had this friend he talked to on the phone, then all of a sudden his friend won't talk to him.
Be a man and take his next call. Tell him what's up. Tell him he's a bore and you don't want to be involved in the drama of his life. Tell him don't call again.

As for T-Mobile blocking 'unknown' numbers. The number may be unknown to you, but I'll guarantee that it's not unknown to T-Mobile.

It has stopped now. The problem with unplugging is it works in the wee hrs of the night but i can't do it during the day (for obvious reasons = missing other calls). I am afraid this idiot may ramp it up and play this game during normal hrs.

I have had the *67 number thing happen to me before too. Trust me, it's not him. I know from experience. I used to pick up too, just to have them not say anything and hang up. But one time, after them calling for about 3 months, I listened for a while and some bill company came on the other end of the phone telling me that I owe them money.

I must get 10 calls a day from 'unknown number' or even 'blocked number'. According to caller ID. Since I don't answer my home phone, the answering machine picks up after one ring.
There's never a message left.

Honestly, I don't want to have physical contact with him. I don't have the courage to tell him I no longer want him a part of my life. I was hoping the idiot would get a clue by me not calling him nor receiving his calls. Wtf?

keep ringer on silent from now on, or go nuts all day with worry .waiting for calls .. .. return the calls to your family orfriends, this way you are not babysitting the ringer on your phone . .. this is how others keep thier same phone number, after changing friends.. or go crazy answering unknown phone numbers . .like you have been doing .we only answere phone numbers we know.. others can go get facked . we keep ringer on silent . do not start off being someone best friend and letting them invade your time..put bounderies s on visitng . visit only at commercial locations rather having a bunch of people showing up at a whim at your house.to hangout .. do not turn your house into a hang out ..! it makes it harder to move on when friends are coming and going in and out of a persons life durng thier lifetime ..! tell em hanging out is not happenng at your house. that you will meet em at commercial locations for coffee etc ..
