St David is the patron St of Wales, yet it is known that he was originally known as Dewi who was a Pagan red dragon god whom ancient Welsh tribes worshipped. Dewi is the equivalent of the Hebrew Satan who was also described as being a red dragon. When the Roman Empire converted to Christianity, Dewi became St David.
