The multiple posts about lack of memory is stating to really freak me out!!!!!

I can absorb information really well but my memory is shot to hell when it come to recalling last weeks movie I just saw. I'm skeered!

I remember taking a test in 6th grade and was later told I will be in a special program. The variety of kids was amazing. Different races, religions, economic backgrounds. It seemed like they were sifting through every socio-economic backgrounds to find us, to put us together and see what happens.
Most of the kids I grouped up with seemed much older in their in the intellect. Indigos kids?

In this program there was lots and lots of testing. We were taught to think and always asks questions. Think outside the box. We did a lot of brain teasers as they call it. Critical thinking exercises and problem solving scenarios. Thinking outside the box stuff. I don't clearly remember the test and puzzles.

We were the herded "nerd" class in junior high. We took a lot of field trips to museums and operas and plays.

Strangely enough, we were bussed from all over the city and place in a mediocre school in the "ghetto" side of town.

I had the chance to know my IQ test but never bothered to want to know in fear it may make me feel/act mentally superior over regular intelligence folks. To me it is just a number.

I kinda got bored with the program and lost interest in the academics. Girls and sports got in the way of me being a computer geek.

So far I haven't really made any serious attempts to reconnect with the other students in the program I was in. I hear stories now and then...Some are doctors and lawyers some are just housewives or a working stiff like me.

And yet when someone steps up and shows you the layers and how to counter them, you attack. Avoidance of the issue does NOT make it go away. But it does create a victim mentality.

If I did it, then I was totally unaware. If I did it, I would like to know it so to avoid it in the future. I asked that in the past but got ignored. Nobody bothered to tell me, which there are two non-public options for. I'm a woman with amnesia. It's getting better, I remember a lot more, but if I couldn't remember a single childhood christmas, then how am I going to remember that something is a trigger?

I get only nudges or a sense of perturbation from what comes up on the thread sometimes. Not fully triggered in a more devastating way as you're implying. I don't think that's possible. For me, at least, when things got dangerous, when I slip who I am, that was devastating. That trigger is danger in my proximity. Not any word or image, just a threat.

Neophiles rising, people with the ability to change and adapt, flexible in their intelligence and attitude. These types of people I do not think would be MK'd aside from maybe "shut down" as in fucked with to prevent true potential from arising. I'm even leaning toward us being taken out of class to prevent their programming from over riding ours... and maybe even our "gaps" being explained as governors on our systems that would most likely degrade with time...
