If your doctor gets rid of your records, they are required by law to give you prior notice and an opportunity to reclaim the records. As I said, rather than thinking this is some conspiracy, it seems much more likely that many of us are having our records lost just due to procrastination and human nature.

Q: "Who is missing their records?"

A: "Me!"

Ab: "Some..."

Q: "Who procrastinates?"

A: "Let me answer that later!"

Ab: "What?"

So although this assumption of mine might be incorrect, it is still the most plausible.
