Adam And The 8th Day Creation
Some don’t believe that Adam and Eve were the first 2 humans. The idea is that on the 6th day God created humans, then on the 8th day God created Adam and Eve.

I’ll explain the reasons for Adam and Eve being an 8th day creation then you can decide.

Gen 2:1 Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.

In Genesis 2:1 the heavens and the earth are finished.

Gen 2:5 And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the LORD God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and [there was] not a man to till the ground.

Now God is saying that there was no man to till the ground, no farmer. So when did God create man? Let’s go back to Genesis 1:26.

Gen 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

In Genesis 1:26 God created fisherman and hunters.

Then in Genesis 2:7 God created a farmer, Adam.

Gen 2:7 And the LORD God formed man [of] the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

Notice that in Gen 1:26 and 2:7 both use the word man. I looked this up in Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance of The Bible and found that both use the Hebrew word H120, אדם or ‘adam in English, which can mean a man, mankind, or Adam the first man. So is there a difference between the word man in Gen 1:26 and 2:7?

To take this a step further I cracked open The Companion Bible and for the word ‘man’ it referred me to Appendix 14 where it explains the synonym words used for “MAN.” It says that Adam without the article denotes man or mankind in general, E.G. Gen 1:26, 2:5, 5:1. With the particle (’eth) in addition to the article it is very emphatic, and means self, very, this same, this very, E.G. Gen 2:7, and it’s the first occurrence of this.

So according to E. W. Bullinger there is a big difference between the word man in Gen 1:26 and Gen 2:7.

I thought it would be interesting to see how The Septuagint translated Gen 1:27 and Gen 2:7, since both verses are about creating a man.

LXX Gen 1:27 And God made man, according to the image of God he made him, male and female he made them.

LXX Gen 2:7 And God formed the man of dust of the earth, and breathed upon his face the breath of life, and the man became a living soul.

Interesting, in Gen 2:7 it says God formed “the” man and in Gen 1:27 it says God made man. It seems that there is a clear difference of the word man according to The Septuagint which further confirms that in 1:26 God created mankind and on the 8th day in 2:7 God created The Adam.

If Genesis 2 is just Genesis 1 in more detail then we would expect the order of creation to be the same in each chapter. Interestingly, we find a difference that further clues us to Adam being an 8th day creation.

First let us look at Genesis 1. In verses 1:20 – 1:24 God created the animals, then in verse 1:26 he created man.

Gen 1:20 And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl [that] may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.

Gen 1:24 And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so.

Gen 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

Now Genesis 2 God created man then created the animals.

Gen 2:7 And the LORD God formed man [of] the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

Gen 2:19 And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought [them] unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that [was] the name thereof.

The order of creation is different. I believe that this implies God created man and animals on day 6, then on day 8 he created animals to help Adam with farming. According to Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance of The Bible, in verse 2:19 the word fowl in ‘every fowl of the air’ is Hebrew word H5775, עוף `owph which can mean flying creatures, fowl, insects, or birds. H5775 (fowl) is used in both 1:20 and 2:19. It is possible that on the 8th day God created insects to help with pollination but these insects were not created on the 5th day.

In conclusion I think we should be open to the possibility of Adam being an 8th day creation. He was created in Gods image and he was the start of the Geneology of which Christ would come.

That's looking at it a little odd, but you may be right in a way. If you look into Christian mythlogy you will find the tale of Lilith... who was Adam's first wife and also the mother of demons. Interesting story. This gets put into the catagogy of mythology because the Bible neither confirms nor denies it... in fact it never mentions it in any books we have access to, or at least I havent' found it anywhere.

You could be right, he could have made us on day 6... wiped us out, and made us again on day 8. Remember a day to God could be a million years to us.

There is a lot we don't know, and I think a lot could be answered if the flippin Catholic church would stop hording the knowledge like they did in the Dark Ages and let the world know what they know...

Re: Adam And The 8th Day Creation
Thank you for laying that out so clearly. I've been hearing a lot lately about this 8th day man creation theory, and yet no one has explained it until now. I'm not saying I believe it, b/c I would have to pray about it, but thank you for explaining it up front like that and not hording what you believe to be the truth like it's yours alone.

Genesis 3:15: "And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel." The Nephilim control the world now, but not for long!

I agree completely. It's all very intriguing nonetheless. Makes biblical study, all that more interesting IMO.

Re: Adam And The 8th Day Creation
Yes. Eight also means new beginning or change in biblical numerics. I have always thought this made the most sense. First you have the hunters and gatherers and then you have the farmers come along after them. It also says that God saw that sixth day man "was good." It means that eighth day man was meant for a special purpose. It also fits because Cain complained to God after he killed Abel that whomever saw him would kill him. If there were no other people around, who was he talking about?

If you want to dissect creationism you have to go to 2 Enoch. That has the most detailed account of the story I've ever read.

And if you've read that, then you'll immediately wonder, "Who the hell is Sotona (Diana)?"

That is NOT Christian mythology and it is NOT Biblical.
The myth is Jewish midrash and is completely absurd.

The Bible clearly says 6 days to create the universe, the Earth, and everything in them; then the 7th day was sanctified.

I will take the Word of God and the scriptures over some anti-Christian retard on GLP.

Still falls into the catagory of mythlogy. Zeus wasn't exactly real, but more or less stories to explain the world around them... or an alien... but either way, it's reduced to a story that explains something.

i think you misunderstand what i call 6th day creation instead of 8th day creation

6th day creation (all races except the hebrew)

8th day creation (the hebrew race)

as in we all didnt come from adam and eve.....only hebrew people came from adam and eve

6th day man was told to be fruitful and multiply and 8 day man....or adam....was forbiddin to have sex

thats the basic theory

A day to God isn't a million years though is it?
That would be an attack on his word and his law

whats the first thing God has created on earth?

Its Time The cycles of Day and Night
= 7 in total meaning a week
(Then later he creates Marriage, which is also attacked today)

a 6 day creation, The 7th day is the Sabbath
When God would grace man with his company

The Same Sabbath that man was meant to Celebrate today still

This is Important to note otherwise you could be in trouble.

are they the 9 suggestions? or the Ten Commandments?

If they are done away with?

what do we need God's Grace for?

As you only get Grace from breaking the Law, if you truly repent of sin (Sin = The Transgression of law)

I don't understand the significance of any of this. How does this relate to our salvation? We are all God's creation regardless. We all have a choice. DNA means nothing as far as our salvation is concerned. The only thing that matters to God is our faith.

...retard on GLP...

"can you imagine Jesus saying something like that?"

I CAN IMAGINE... NO, I CAN CITE HIM SAYING EVEN ROUGHER WORDS TO "RELIGIOUS" FOLKS PUSHING FALSE TEACHING SUCH AS THIS LIKE HE DID THOSE PHARISEES OF HIS DAY!

"YOU VIPERS (SNAKES)!" "YOU WILL DIE IN YOURS SINS, IF YOU DO NOT BELIEVE THAT 'I AM' HE"

"YE DOGS!" ETC.

YOU KNOW, IT ALWAYS AMAZES ME HOW PEOPLE WITH FALSE TEACHINGS LOVE TO SWAY SEEKING CHRISTIANS WHO DON'T YET HAVE ENOUGH UNDERSTANDING OF BIBLICAL TRUTH, TO THEIR ERRONEOUS BELIEFS AND SUPPOSED SCRIPTURAL DOCTRINES, BUT WHEN ANYONE WITH ENOUGH SALT STEPS UP TO CHALLENGE THEIR GARBAGE, THEY PLAY THAT IDIOTIC SYMPATHY CARD AND TRY TO ACT LIKE JESUS WAS JUST SO SOFT AND LOVING THAT HE NEVER CHECKED FALSE TEACHING AND ALL SINFUL PRACTICE OF MAN. PLEASE! STOP TRYING TO FOOL HONEST BUT SIMPLE GOD LOVING, GOD FEARING PEOPLE WITH THESE DANGEROUS DOCTRINES OF DEVILS! AND STOP TRYING TO MAKE LIKE A TRUE CHRISTIAN IS NOT SAVED OR WALKING IN LOVE JUST BECAUSE HE/SHE HAS THE WILL, KNOWLEDGE AND STRENGTH TO CHECK THESE RIDICULOUS FALSEHOODS MASQUERADING AS SCRIPTURALLY BASED CHRISTIAN DOCTRINE.

ALL DEVILS ARE ETERNALLY HELLBOUND ALOND WITH THEIR ERRONEOUS DOCTRINES AND THOSE WEAK MINDED IDIOTS WHO ALLOW THEMSELVES TO BE USED TO SPREAD THIS KIND OF POISON AMONGST THE PEOPLE OF GOD!

GET SAVED IN JESUS NAME AND AVOID JUDGEMENT!
AMEN
