(1) And there was given me a reed like a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the Temple of GOD, and the altar, and them that worship in it. (2) But the court which is without the temple, leave out, and measure it not; for it is given to the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.

5 -- And in those days the angels shall return And hurl themselves to the east upon the Parthians and Medes (Iran): They shall stir up the kings, so that a spirit of unrest shall come upon them, And they shall rouse them from their thrones, That they may break forth as lions from their lairs, And as hungry wolves among their flocks.

6 -- And they shall go up and tread under foot the land of His elect ones. And the land of His elect ones shall be before them a threshing-floor and a highway.

Ezechiel 38
(14) Therefore, thou son of man, prophesy and say to Gog: Thus saith the Lord GOD: Shalt thou not know, in that day, when my people of Israel shall dwell securely? (15) And thou shalt come out of thy place from the northern parts, thou and many people with thee, all of them riding upon horses, a great company and a mighty army. (16) And thou shalt come upon my people of Israel like a cloud, to cover the earth. Thou shalt be in the latter days, and I will bring thee upon my land: that the nations may know me, when I shall be sanctified in thee, O Gog, before their eyes.

3 -- I will commission my two witnesses to prophesy for those twelve hundred and sixty days, wearing sackcloth."

4 -- These are the two olive trees and the two lampstands that stand before the Lord of the earth.

5 -- If anyone wants to harm them, fire comes out of their mouths and devours their enemies. In this way, anyone wanting to harm them is sure to be slain.

6 -- They have the power to close up the sky so that no rain can fall during the time of their prophesying. They also have power to turn water into blood and to afflict the earth with any plague as often as they wish.

The 2 witness are prophesying in Jerusalem against the false Prophet who is trying to defile the new Temple by sitting on the throne, and against the Beast (little horn) who will kill the 2 witnesses.

4 -- who opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god and object of worship, so as to seat himself in the Temple of GOD, claiming that he is a god.

7 -- When they have completed their witnessing, the beast that comes out of the Abyss is going to make war on them and overcome them and kill them.

What beast was buried in an abyss? Answer: Azazel
GOD had him bonded hand and foot and cast into a dark opening (abyss) in the desert until Judgment day (destruction)--(1Enoch 10-6).

8 -- And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.

The verse says Jerusalem is called "spiritually" Sodom and Egypt. Jesus called the Jews (Jerusalem) the synagogue of Satan, therefore, spiritually it will still be called that today by those who are spiritually enlightened until the New Temple is built. (Rev.3:9)

9 -- For three and a half days men from every people, tribe, language and nation will gaze on their bodies and refuse them burial.

10 -- The inhabitants of the earth will gloat over them and will celebrate by sending each other gifts, because these two prophets had tormented those who live on the earth.

11 -- But after the three and a half days a breath of life from God entered them, and they stood on their feet, and terror struck those who saw them.

12 -- Then they heard a loud voice from heaven saying to them, "Come up here." And they went up to heaven in a cloud, while their enemies looked on.

13 -- At that very hour there was a severe earthquake and a tenth of the city collapsed.

(19) In my fiery anger I tell you this. On that day there will be a large earthquake in the land of Israel.

(20) Fish, birds, wild animals, everything that crawls on the ground, and every person on earth will tremble in my presence. The mountains will be torn down, the cliffs will crumble, and every wall will fall to the ground. (21) I will declare war against Gog on all my mountains, declares the Almighty Lord. Each person will use his sword against his relative.
