God is complicated and, as He lives outside of time he has the "time" to create multi-layered tales.

The stories are not only for generations past, but they apply today and they will also apply to generations to come. Patterns within patterns. Fractals beget fractals. We can see this in the rivers and trees and all of nature around us. We are less inclined, however, to recognize this in matters spiritual. This, however, does not mean that the patterns do not continue, for they very much do.

The woman is both one and many. She is ancient and modern, both. She is spiritual, flesh-and-bone and a constellation, all. She is a messenger, a sign, a counselor and a being. She is eternal, now. Her place is secure in the past, present and future. Time is a mirage created by God for our learning benefit. She is exactly who and what she is supposed to be.

If you are looking for a celestial sign in the words, it does exist. However, you will be forced to decide between several interpretations, none of which come with concrete answers. There are a number of real dates correlated with these clues. One occurred in April 2013, meaning the process is now underway. Several others point to later this year as the start date. Still others point to a few years down the road.

Does it really matter?

Christ's disciples expected His kingdom to return during their lifetimes. It obviously did not.

It may be another 5,000 years until Christ decides to come again. I hope so, because this would give human souls extra time to repent. We could honestly use it. I hate to think of losing even just one soul because the group was being a bit impatient. I reach my spiritual hand out to them now. Grab hold. Please grab hold. Love is all that awaits you.
