America has been raped and robbed by it's own politicians and corporations, who couldn't care less if they destroy it, because they can always just head to another country with the wealth they've gained. I remember hearing years ago about how the entire Bush administration had all their personal wealth invested in China. Looking back it's pretty clear they knew things would turn out the way they are now, and the way they are going to be.
