Here is what it comes down to:

Should people be free to ingest/inhale what they wish without having violence initiated against them?

Whether it is weed, fatty foods, soda, or whatever, the principle is the same.

It is either good for people to have violence initiated against them to control what they can eat, or it is bad to initiate violence against others to control what they eat.

And then there's the issue of how you can only control what others eat by maintaining a slave class and ruling class, unless everyone is free to use violence to control what others eat...

To worshipers of the sociopathic cult, lying and violence – as long as they are conducted on a grand scale – are not only to be tolerated, but rewarded. Bush was reelected for the blatant lies upon which his most visible policies were grounded! For true believers of this cult, lying and violence are reserved for those who practice them in a stately fashion. Thus, you would not abide your spouse or business partner lying to you, but will venerate politicians for the adroitness of their lies.
