Some kids in my neighborhood were growing it so I stole all their plants and destroyed them. Then when they grew some more in another secret place I called the cops on them. I got them thrown in jail and kicked out of school and their parents are paying heavy fines. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 861302If you take out a family with your car, all because you wanted to get stoned... DEATH PENALTY I had 2 friends killed by drunk drivers. The driver only got 3 years jail. Still haven't lost one to pot, or from a stoned driver. Why does everyone hate pot but say nothing about alcohol? Are you all brainwashed? Govt says alcohols is legal, thus it's good; Govt says marajuana is illegal thus it's bad?? Do you really believe that one form of intoxiation is ok while another should be punishable by fines & imprisonment? ARE YOU A BUNCH OF FUCKING SHEEP?! And just FYI, the founding fathers grew marajuana too... •Both Washington and Jefferson tried growing hemp on their Virginia farms, with mixed success. Washington used some of what he grew to make hemp clothing worn by his slaves. However, U.S. hemp exported to Britain often was of such poor quality that it couldn't be sold, and Washington was never able to turn a profit on the crop despite sustained effort. Jefferson also seems to have grown hemp strictly for local consumption, from which we deduce he couldn't make money at it either. In short, not only were Washington and Jefferson marijuana farmers, they were unsuccessful marijuana farmers. [link to www.straightdope.com] But if they were around today, you stupid Americans would have them imprisoned as drug lords. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 849232 United States 01/16/2010 01:30 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | No, it's more dangerous than booze Quoting: Anonymous Coward 851589Then explain to me why booze is legal? We all know it's because it's much safer and doesn't lead to harder drugs. 1. Booze was illegal, that was called prohibition. 2. It failed, because too many people drank, and it spawned crime with the smuggling of it. 3. So they fixed everything by repealing it, making it legal again. 4. Marijuana was legal in the US until shortly after they repealed prohibition on alcohol. 5. This worked, because fewer people smoked it than drank, and now the jails are full of nonviolent criminals. |

"If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around them will deprive the people of all property until their children wake up homeless on the continent their Fathers conquered." Thomas Jefferson "It is well enough that the people of the nation do not understand our banking and monetary system, for if they did, I believe there would be a revolution before tomorrow morning." Henry Ford, founder of the Ford motor company "We have in this country one of the most corrupt institutions the world has ever known. I refer to the Federal Reserve Board and the Federal Reserve Banks. Some people think the Federal Reserve Banks are U.S. government institutions. They are not government institutions. They are private credit monopolies; domestic swindlers, rich and predatory money lenders which prey upon the people of the United States for the benefit of themselves and their foreign customers. The Federal Reserve banks are the agents of the foreign central banks. The truth is the Federal Reserve Board has usurped the Government of the United States by the arrogant credit monopoly which operates the Federal Reserve Board." --Congressman Louis T. I'm having the 'lovely' visitor of the month right now, and if a plant takes away my headache, aches, cramps, and tiredness.. I WILL SMOKE IT. PERIOD. There is nothing big pharma can make that will even COME CLOSE to this beautiful, highly useful plant, and they know it. With it, I don't need tylenol, aspirin, etc. I smoked it last time I had the flu, and it really helped me. And if anything leads to harder drugs, it's alcohol and tobacco.
