| Anonymous Coward User ID: 873968 01/25/2010 04:50 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | its a shmae that you cant do anything with it, something i have noticed though is these hot pixels seem to exhibit the ability to reflect light in a way that is relative to their distance and position from the sun. The objects are that are closer within the corona seem to be very bright possibly because being enveloped within the corona there is a lot of light available and it reflects of almost all of the surface. The objects on the edge of the corona and only have one face exposed to the sun tend to only reflect light on that side and the distance they are from the sun is proportional to the amount of light they are reflecting. Bloody amazing that these artifacts do not behave like artifacts ie their being a dull spot within the corona or a particularly bright spot outside the corona its odd that the artifacts behave in a way an object would dependant on its position and distance from the sun. |

Quoting: Sandi_TYes, not everyone and everything is a perfect as Sandi_T. You seem to be a genius researcher. Can you tell me why you "sleuths" aren't finding any "anomalies" in images earlier than, say, Jan 16? Can you interpret the image code and maybe explain why it might be? Can you pull up the Science images and not the Beacon images for me? Didn't think so. Genius. ********************************************** Can you tell us why they didn't Can you tell us why they're not Can you pull up past images that Of course I can't tell you why they weren't there before the 16th It should be simple for NASA to drop some previous incidences Why aren't they doing so? Why aren't they posting all these "common" anomalies? Why DON'T any exist before this month? Are they stupid? Incompetent? They don't back up their photos? So why aren't they showing us all these other anomalous photo backups? Thanks for your snide little useless commentary, I notice the genius didn't answer my questions, just foamed at the mouth and ranted. Good show. Very enjoyable. NASA isn't in the habit of posting explanations for every kook idea that gets posted on the web. They don't have a Dept. of Kookery. [link to stereo-ssc.nascom.nasa.gov] You'll note this quote: "The STEREO space weather beacon telemetry mode is a very low rate, highly compressed data stream broadcast by the spacecraft 24 hours per day. These data are used for space weather forecasting. Because of the large compression factors used, these beacon images are of much lower quality than the actual science data." Perhaps they think they're dealing with people who can actually read. I see they were wrong. As to why they aren't doing all the things you ask, they are a science organization and are not required to guess and respond to every kook idea that comes down the pike. Kook on. |

These are NOT, Hot pixles. [link to www.kenrockwell.com] Hot Pixels WHAT DO THEY LOOK LIKE? "They appear as one or a few unnaturally bright individual pixels. They will be at exactly the same single-pixel location in every frame. They do not move. They literally are locked in stone on the sensor. They will be one pixel, and therefore much sharper than anything else in the image. Some cameras light only one pixel. Other cameras, like my D200 shown above, show them as tiny crosses. This is due to Bayer interpolation. They are the two tiny green crosses in the example above, when you roll your mouse over the image. Because camera sensors used color-striped sensors, hot pixels are usually colored red or green or blue. They are not spots. They are not evenly distributed. They do not look like noise." |

Can you pull up the Science images and not the Beacon images for me? Didn't think so. Genius. ***************************************** I'm no sleuth, and I'm certainly not an expert, but the fact that nothing similar to these anomalies appeared prior to Jan 16 (I thought it was the 18th, but I digress) would seem to make them more suspicious, not less. Did NASA change something about the way their data is received, transmitted, or displayed since Jan 16? If so, I'd say this has been debunked, but I haven't heard anything like that mentioned in 78 pages. I think it's the 17th but I'm too lazy to look it up. Read Dr. Gurman's response a page or two back. They didn't receive the proper full res Science image download due to a software glitch. The onboard computer started sending them images from the 10th(?) I think he said. They reset and are now behind time-wise on getting the 2048x2048 images processed and up. (that's if they didn't lose them) The 512x512 beacon images are relatively continuously transmitted on the lo-bandwidth telemetry so that is what you people are looking at, not the full res images. Normally they post the beacon images almost in real time as .jpg (more compression artifacts) and a few days later replace them with .jpgs made from the full res images. Due to the software glitch, it didn't happen that way this time, but if they didn't lose the 2048 images, they will be processed and posted in replacement to the ones the "sleuths" are looking at now. It may be today, it may be a week from now. That is why I warned the "sleuths" that their pixel-picking will soon end except for the most current day. That is why you don't find the "anomalies" on earlier images. Those images have had the beacon lo-res images replaced by much better full-res .jpgs. I read the good doctor's response, and it was completely incomprehensible to a layperson. Your explanation of his explanation was much better (Thanks.), but I guess I'm somewhat dimwitted and still just don't get it. If this is so easily debunkable, why hasn't anyone provided even one image similar to these? If there are more compression artifacts in a .jpg, fine. May I see one prior to Jan 16 with similar compression artifacts? Rev. 21:4 He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away. |

User ID: 872603 01/25/2010 05:05 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | PG aka Anon 812425 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 636260This was it found it "Hello ICE, A little more info came my way from my astrophysics friend in Europe, I hope you remember lol, anyway I posted some pics of these "objects" to her and she said that she knew they were coming based on her math, I again tried to pry some more info out of her and she brought up the facts that after the 26 of Jan 2010 things will really start to get strange in the sense of whale beachings, aircraft navigation problems and health concerns of people as we move along the timeline of the pole shift. I also picked up a story on Nasa about this cloud we are going through and she said its all connected that their is some type of disturbance that is now befalling the planet and that all of this is connected, I asked about the earthquakes lately and she said it is due to the magnetic effects of what is coming from space at us now, and we continue to talk, I promised I would get back to you and there it is." Paul. Hi, yes it's me....As I stated earlier I received this info from a contact off of my FB Page, I have a great interest in all things Space related and I was on a site discussing the Big Bang, so this lady replied to a post I made and we began to talk, she seems legit to me very smart in astrophysics and works in a university in Hungary, she says that the solar system is not in harmony anymore due to a change in its magnetic properties caused by, and here is where it gets interesting, ancient entities coming back to I guess clean up this mess by way of a global consciousness, as best as I understand it, and that she has proven it by way of physics, and that she is being muzzled by her superiors, she also goes on to state that after Jan 26 2010 things are really going to heat up as far as things happening on earth, take it for what it is I believe her as she seems very sincere. Paul. |

They NEVER critically analyze or reject things as long as it remains inexplicable to the average lay person with no relevant experience.
