Quoting: Sumo Not sure what the radar means...but I am in southwestern Arizona near Phoenix. We have had monster winds and storms all day. The washes are raging rivers and our RV camp ground is under 3 inches of standing water. I was raised in the Midwest (MI) where we had tornadoes and severe thunderstorms...never seen winds like this! Must have been close to 70 to 80 mph gusts. Hope this isn't weather wars ==It is horrible. Friday is predicted to be more of the same. Folks who are dry camping this winter are sure in trouble around here. No news on injuries or deaths...but with what we saw today I'd be surprised if it's not bad news in the a.m.!

Something is really fishy about these storms. We are supposed to get a monsoon rain tomorrow here in New Mexico............and that kind of rain is found in the summertime not the winter. Moisture isn't something that is common to this area in the winter. So.......if the earth is tilting is Arizona and New Mexico the new California? I feel for you good folks in AZ. Didn't they have i-40 closed today due to weather conditions in AZ?

It looks to be directly offset and equidistant from the circle-dot in the center of it, which appears to be part of the map, and larger than the other similar circle-dots which are towns. Is that a part of the map? What is it, or what does it represent? The approximate geographic center of the Mogollon Plateau?
