And you can bet your ass that you can fuck to it" |

Quoting: Indigo~Lunalike it was "moving" thunder...fast moving im 40 and have never heard anything like this during a storm have you? only a few times usually when there is a squall line we get that low rumbly thunder, it's not uncommon but the low stuff that builds and builds and seems to last forever doesn't happen often. Anonymous Coward User ID: 825664 United States 01/24/2010 01:07 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I remember "hiking"(yeah, that's it!) during a really bad storm in sw Ky. It was bad, and there we were, kinda crouched on the edge of a field, tornado winds and lightening crashing all around us, drenched to the bone. The weather gods tried to kill us both going in, and coming out, it was quite memorable. Fucking crazy, really. |

BRIEF AND TO THE POINT User ID: 865920 United States 01/24/2010 02:08 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I live northeast of Louisville and I heard it too. Woke me out of a sound sleep and scared me to death! The house shook all around me. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 788943Yep,southern Indiana too and It woke me up. Gf and I were talking about how weird it is to have thunder and lightening in January. Poor people do poor people things, and rich people do rich people things. You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity by legislating the wealthy out of prosperity. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friend, is the beginning of the end of any nation. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it! when you rob Paul to give to Peter ... ... ... you will always get Peters support! :Brieffromnativea: |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 825664 United States 01/24/2010 03:23 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I don't know how the storm patterns go in western and NW Ky, but The whole southern part, along with a lot of Tn, etc, gets some good ones. Mini tornado alleys you could say. Tn gets it worse than Ky I think. Nashville and surroundings has it share. Seems like tornados and nasties go through barren and hart counties(Ky)(and around there) pretty regularly, also. |

Bluebird User ID: 730536 United States 01/24/2010 03:56 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I remember hearing this some time last night but I can't recall the time. Did not shake windows but did get louder and louder and last an abnormal length of time. I looked outside to see WTH was happening. Didn't see anything, not even lightening. Northern Alabama. One of the most important aspects of conspiracy theories is being able to discern when there isn't one. Oh yeah, like you'd understand anyway.
